"BLOWN AWAY!!" - by Chris H.
I have to say I am really impressed. I have had a Dyson for years. Like everyone who owns a Dyson, you think the expensive price tag equals quality. Most of the time this is true. And Dyson has quality. I was hesitant at the price tag considering it was relatively half priec of my previous vacuum.
I was turned on to this unit by a professional flooring inspector. He referred me to a website that does third party testing on vacuum cleaners. This unit was the highest rated among canister vacuums. There a many which have better ratings but I will not buy a vacuum that uses bags.
I opened the box and I was really pleased with the ease of assembly. Instructions are very well written.

I decided to give it a run immediately. Keep in mind, it had only been a couple days since my old vacuum broke. I noticed ... full review

"Versatile Vacuum that Can Handle All the Dirt in Our Home" - by S. H. Wells (Tulsa, OK United States)
Amazing Vacuum. I have a dog, hardwood floors, thick area carpets, and a hard-to-clean leather shag rug. There are an astounding number of features on this vacuum that enabled to handle every surface type, nook, and cranny. The Shark is easily the best vacuum we've ever had.

Push-button operation allows the user to change modes right on from the handle. The vacuum operates like a traditional upright vacuum or it can be placed on a caddy that also carries several attachments and used as a canister vacuum. I would've liked a caddy designed to hold ALL the included attachments. The unit comes with a bag for the attachments that don't fit on the caddy in order to keep everything organized.

The dirt container is thoughtfully designed. First, the seal is complete. Gone are the days of the slightly dusty smelling vacuum bags. This unit does not let dust escape ... full review

"Most powerful, light and versatile upright I've ever owned- LOVE IT!" - by LILass (Long Island, NY)
I bought this in 2010 and it really is what I've been looking for in an upright for years! I come from a Hoover Windtunnel that weighs ~ 23lbs and was killing me. I have carpeted stairs, so wanted a lift-off type upright but the Hoover model is too heavy. Then I saw the Shark infomercial. They always have such clever designs but their cordless vac reviews are so bad, I had to check reviews online before I bought this. They clearly are much better at making plug-in vacs over cordless re-chargeables because this one is a keeper! It makes vacuuming kinda fun :)

Pros:
- light and easy to push, pull and lift!
- all nozzles (except crevice tools) swivel- really easy to maneuver!
- so quiet, no high-pitched hiss at all, just a soft hum
- this thing is only 10 amps and the suction is better than the Hoover's 12 amp motor- ... full review

"Believe the hype - this rocket rocks!" - by Debra Desautels
I purchased the Shark Rocket about a month ago (from BB&Beyond due to the 20% coupon but based on reviews I read here). I was somewhat skeptical since I tend to gravitate toward reading the 1- and 2-star ratings first, propelling myself into a state of doubt over even the most minor purchases.

I was looking for something to replace a heavy, somewhat useless Hoover upright purchased in 1999 and an older model Shark that's no longer sold (as far as I can tell). The Hoover was on the way out the door for a variety of reasons but primarily due to it's weight and the fact that it didn't really suck much up. The older Shark was okay but wasn't powerful enough and it was a pain to detach the handheld part (awkward to get off the main frame). It also didn't have a powered head ... full review

"Pet hair terminator" - by Kevin
I love this vacuum. It is so easy to use. I have a large dog that sheds heavily and laminate flooring. I felt as though I was constantly chasing pet hair and no amount of sweeping, swiffering, and mopping even came close to eliminating it. The tools make it easy to clean under furniture as well as appliances. The floor light illuminated the hair you never even knew was there just before this incredible vacuum eradicates it. Area rugs, no problem. Carpet no problem. Pet hair, victory. If this vacuum holds up I am a customer for life!!

"Shark Keeps Getting Better, but Still Room for Improvement" - by mrr (CT)
I own all three versions of the Navigator, including this one. I am not a professional reviewer, and neither I nor anyone in my family has any connection to anyone in the vacuum cleaner industry. I bought my Lift Away Pro from QVC.

I really like the new Lift Away Pro. For about one-third the cost of a Dyson, you get virtually the same performance. Dyson still has an advantage in the quality of the engineering and materials used, but Shark is catching up. Like the two earlier versions of the Navigator, the Lift Away Pro has Pros and Cons.

PROs:
- Price. You can buy about 3 Lift Away Pros for the cost of one upright Dyson. Cleaning performance is comparable (I have 3 Dysons, so I know).

- Excellent suction. If you have never used a vacuum with suction this good, you are going to be appalled at how much dirt comes ... full review

"Best vacuum I have ever gotten" - by LSP (NY, USA)
Best vacuum I have ever gotten, and I am extremely tough on vacuums! Dog hair everywhere and going through kitchen renovation which makes a mess out of the rest of the house. This quickly and easily picks up more than one would expect, and is the first vacuum I have found that actually works on wood floors in addition to variety of pile carpet. Suction extremely strong, can't use on throw rug even when I adjust it (which is a handy option for most things). While small works well enough that I no longer have to go over floors twice. Fantastic swivel, extremely lightweight. Very easy to clean filters, so I hope this lasts a long time because I love it - only had a few months so far but shows evidence of being very durable.

"I never thought I could love a vacuum again" - by sally smith (Mustang Ranch, NV)
In my younger days, I cleaned houses for a living. I loved my Eureka upright and no one could tell me anything different. Hoover - forget it! The 200 pound Kirby - not a chance! My love for Eureka knew no bounds. I could even repair it myself, changing bags, or belts, no worries!

Until one sad day, it broke and I couldn't fix it.

Time to go to Amazon and see what is out there.

First I went to Kohl's, Best Buy, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Costco, looking, taking notes, seeing prices, sizes, what options, what is good bad or ugly. I kind of liked the Shark. Came home, read all the reviews on Amazon (I am in love with Amazon and Prime, just saying.) Picked this one. Waited for it to arrive.

Put it together, not hard, didn't even need help from hubby, Norman. Shazam!

I vacuumed my house, up down, all over. ... full review

"Grossly satisfying to see how much this Shark picks up!" - by Cheryl St.John (the Midwest USA)
I queried my rather large group of Facebook friends for recommendations for a new vacuum, and the Shark was by far the most recommended. I bought the Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe NV360 plus an additional 2 year warranty. On the first day I did a wood floor and two carpeted rooms, and you can see from the photo how much dust and pet hair was in the container. I was appalled but satisfied I'd chosen well and taken good advice. For the price, this is the best vacuum I've owned since I went through two Rainbos when my four kids were little. The carpet in my bedroom needs replaced, but even it looks better. The thick newer carpet in my family room looks great after only one day. I haven't even used the attachments yet, but I already know I've made a good selection with the model.

I highly recommend this ... full review

"Works excellent for cleaning stairs and small messes, but is corded unlike the Dyson" - by J. Maxon (Texas, USA)
There are so many SharkNinja vacuums on the market that it can be hard to determine which one is the right one. As for myself, I purchased the [[ASIN:B005KMDV9A Shark Navigator Lift-Away Professional (NV356E)]] on Prime Day several months back, and have since then tested and reviewed two more. This Rocket Complete makes my forth SharkNinja vacuum. Unlike the other three, this one isn’t a standard upright vacuum, in fact, it can’t stand upright on its own at all. The motor and dust cup are too heavy at the top of the handle for the base to support it. If you need to change outlets or reach for a new accessory, you’ll have to lay it down. That said, thankfully, SharkNinja was smart enough to include a hanger bracket for storing. But of course, that means drilling into your wall. Ultimately, this Rocket Complete relates more to the Dyson Absolute ... full review

"My favorite vacuum" - by Brent Butler (USA)
I've used several canister and upright vacuums over the years. When you maintain a household for 40 years, you use up a few of them. LOL

The Shark is by far my favorite of all the vacuums I've used. The rotator feature makes it easy to turn it into tight spaces or straight areas like furniture and walls. The container means you don't have to buy (or run out of) bags. The power cord is longer than most uprights I've used. It has plenty of accessories for all the cleaning jobs you'll need.

This model has an interesting feature in that the "off/on" switch also toggles hard floor or carpet modes. A slide control takes a bit of power off if you are on a carpet that's difficult to vacuum due to nap.

To me, it feels very light to use, and is easier to take the canister off than an earlier ... full review

"This is a VERY GOOD vacuum!" - by Tom Steele (Greenville, SC United States)
We have several vacuum cleaners and I have a favorite brand, a vacuum that never loses its suction. I was not expecting to like this Shark APEX Upright Vacuum with DuoClean for Carpet and HardFloor Cleaning as much as I do!

I will say up front that it is not as elegant of a design as the other brand, but it more than makes up for that with the great features and outstanding ability to pick things up off the floor and actually clean your carpets. Let's face it, easy to use and elegant design are great, but if a vacuum isn't picking the stuff up off your floor, then none of that matters! THIS VACUUM CLEANS your floors very, very well.

From the moment I opened it and saw the head with three rollers, and soft sponge-like materials, I was pretty sure it was different. It is fairly easy to ... full review

"Shark doesn't disappoint" - by M. Thuma
I have been shopping around for robotic vacuums for several months but didn't buy one because a) the Roomba models are expensive and b) many of the other, cheaper brands are unfamiliar to me. I own two regular Shark vacuum cleaners that I'm very happy with, so I was excited to discover they are also in this market at a price point I can accept. I waited for this model to come out because of the smartphone app (which works well) and the Alexa connection (which I haven't actually tried out yet).

I love, love, love this vacuum. I have a combination of wood and carpet floors downstairs, it seems to navigate around fairly well, although it does have a tendency to get stuck in the thicker carpet in my front room. I have two cats, one is a medium hair that produces clouds of fur on a daily basis, this ... full review

"let me tell you this thing sucks! It is the best vacuum I have ever ..." - by Jaquelynn
I waited about a month to write this review to make sure it worked well.. let me tell you this thing sucks! It is the best vacuum I have ever owned. The chord is very long so I can cover a lot of ground before I have to unplug and resituate. I use this about every other day as I have 2 dogs. Speaking of, it sucks up my golden retrievers hair so we'll you wouldn't even think he lived here. I love all of the attachments as well, great for getting the couch, dust in the air vents, and there's one for hard wood floors too! Do yourself a favor and get this lil baby

"GREAT little vacuum - worth the price!" - by Peggy Carelson
I am SO excited about this little vacuum! I was really skeptical at first - it was a lot of money, but the reviews appeared to be good. I just received mine yesterday and had it set up by myself and both batteries charged before I went to sleep. Today I've used it around the house and it was perfect! Light, picked up all the little pieces of dirt and lint. I bought it specifically for my hardwood floors. I needed something that would not scratch the floor (they are brand new) and would pick up a the little crumbs, dirt, lint, etc that show up on the floor. Something quick and easy. And this definitely was quick and easy! It maneuvers well on the hardwood and my area rugs. I am SO happy! Highly recommend :)
