"Husky chainbar oil is the best!" - by Rob S (USA)
Don't be cheap and use motor oil as chain-bar oil. This stuff has tackiness that will stick to the chain and bar, saving you money.

"Good stuff" - by Devon
Let me start by saying I use this with the Black & Decker LCS1240 40-volt Cordless Chainsaw, 12-Inch and it works PERFECTLY. I have had no stuttering or freezing issues with using this stuff. It appears to keep it completely lubricated the whole time. My chainsaw just eats through this stuff so I have to refill it about once per hour.

I checked around and this is a good price and it comes it bulk so I recommend getting this for any one with an electric chainsaw.

This is hands down the BEST bar and chain oil on the market! It sticks through the heat and flows well through the cold. Keeping all my bars and chains well lubricated, which increases the life of both.

This is far superior to oils that I've used. My chainsaw ran considerably better the first time I used it. Will definitely purchase again.

"convenient sharpening set." - by RDRR
Just what I needed to sharpen my chainsaw . The files are good, the guide makes sharpening easier. The case holds it all together inside my chainsaw case. The flat file can trim down guides or sharpen your axe. The three round files makes sure you have the one you need for your chain.

"Love it" - by Incognito
Honestly, this works about 90% as good as regular chain oil, BUT the fact that it's biodegradable makes up for this. I used regular chain oil before buying this and the saw dust that was saturated with the regular oil took about 8 months to even begin breaking down (stayed the lightwood color from day 1 for 8 months). Saw dust after using this product oxidized and began to break down in less than a week.

On top of the environmental aspect it actually works very well. It's lower viscosity stops clogs from happening too often while keeping the chain lubricated. This will be my go to chain oil unless they change the formula.

Not as good as stock bar. Husqvarna has done away with grease hole on this bar and it will not fit rancher 55 model, watch description.

It's chain oil. I'm not sure how to talk up a gallon of chain oil.

"Very well made product." - by John
High quality can. Very solidly built. I got it specifically for my chain saw. One side my gas/oil mix, the other bar chain oil. The reason for 4 star instead of 5 is the way the safety feature works, the spout has oil or fuel in it when you release the safety so it caused an overflow problem the first time I used it. Learning curve, better at it now. The safety feature that caused gas to spill all over the place cost it a star. I am not a fan of any of the safety features out there. They all make pouring a flammable liquid more difficult, which means potentially dangerous. Out of them all I dislike this one the least. Finally, I absolutely love this dual can.

"Oil seems to be oil but I can live with buying Makita brand name." - by ROBaUSA
I'm not sure why Makita specifies their bar oil is the only type that can be used but I can live with it.
