I purchased this thing because last week I believe someone attempted to hot wire my old caravan. The ignition and much of the plastic around the steering column was broken - so I immediately replaced the ignition and ordered this club because I figure it will slow them down and act as a deterrent since I live in an area where people come and go at all different hours.

I leave my car parked for extended periods of time while I'm in school, and it's nice to have some extra piece of mind when I'm away. I still can't believe it was only $10! The finish is quite nice and feels very durable. I lubricated the locking mechanism with some paraffin-based bike lube because I read other reviewers saying the lock gets sticky.
REMEMBER TO SET YOUR STEERING WHEEL IN ITS LOWEST POSITION BEFORE LOCKING IT WITH THIS BAR!
Otherwise a thief can just lower your wheel to gain some slack in the bar and slide the lock off your pedal.
-Takes less than 30 seconds to install when you get out of your car.
-Fits perfectly (but just barely) on my 05 Subaru STi. You will probably need a larger one for bigger vehicles.

Good price for the HD springs + bushing kit. Went on easy with no problems. Results in a firm ride on the street or beach but they could be too stiff for really rough terrain. That can be fixed by removing a leaf from each stack. Raised the rear ride height enough to require minor adjustment of the front alignment.(57) -

I used this same model of Club when I lived in Harlem, NYC for 8 years and parked my car on the street every night. The thieves got off with several sets of directional lights, but they never took the car.
I keep one of these in the back of my truck now for whenever I have to leave it somewhere for a few days (like at a trailhead).
After locking my keys in the truck a few years ago, and then seeing the guy from AAA "break into" my truck in less than 3 seconds, I have no illusions about how secure my truck is.
It is disappointing to read about people's keys getting stuck in their clubs, but in about ten years of using these, that has never happened to me. I do keep multiple sets of spare Club keys in different locations "just in ... full review(325) -

Worked good but it should provide an insert that is bigger than the light unit itself. I was replacing the old DS lights and then new lights did not provide a way to make the old hole that was cut for the old lights smaller. I ended up cutting the old light frame to fit the hole and then screwed the new lights to that insert.(55)
