Read the whole book before christmas break was over.When the class actually started I found it to be a great reference, when I was unclear on some of my lecture materials. Bought this for my son to help him get out of college at a massive tech school. Stats I and II was basically the last hurdles to cover, and it wasn't easy for him -- but this must've helped because he DID get out of college on time and in 4 years. hallelujah!(64) -

It's the book I needed for my class, but I received it with what looks to appear pest bites on one of the corners. Doesn't really affect the actual content of the book, and since I'm just renting it, it wasn't a huge problem. It is pretty thick and heavy, which I did not expect, but it's also very sturdy and has no marking, no highlights, which I loved!(7) -

My book looked great. The good thing that my professor let us use used books or else I would have had to pay for a code that's missing when you get a used book. Something I didn't know. So before you buy or rent your books ask if it's ok to get used books.(230) -

I bought this text so I could help my wife with a Statistics course that uses this book. I have gone through about half the book and am really enjoying it. There are very few mistakes and the author uses many real examples of statistical studies to illustrate points. Math has been my hobby for quite some time and I've used many different text books. I was a little tentative about ordering this product online because of all of the bad reviews I saw on here but there was no problem. Since I've used access codes for different math classes before, I knew what to expect when I received the product. It is not a book and it doesn't come with multiple pieces and parts; all it is is a cardboard folder with the access code for installation inside and brief descriptions of the program, along with some screenshots. Because I ordered the product directly through Amazon, and not a marketplace seller, there were no problems with the access code being used or tampered with.
Many buyers on here are saying they were upset because they received the product and the code was either uncovered, used, or invalid. When you received your access kit, the code should be covered up with a strip of ... full review(2,042)
