First off don't buy this on amazon, check your local family dollar as I got it there for $30.00.
So is this worth it, I would say it's not worth nearly $50.00! But say maybe $40 or $30 sure!

It includes two wireless controllers ( 2 AAA batteries per controller not included requires a screw driver)
Unit also can play original Sega cartridges.
Unit can use original Sega plug style controllers.
The unit is small sleek and very portable.
Includes an awsome bundle of games ie sonic 1,2 altered beast and much more
All necisary cables are included in the box.
Cons
Unit uses AV cables witch you would expect at this price how ever the lack of the stereo AV cable is a bit of a head scratcher? The sound is bad, but ... full review(187) -

Got three. Oh my word. Gave these to my extreme gaming nephews and my gaming loving daughter for Christmas. I was scared the kids would be like, "You're kidding me, right?" Haha! These kids are 13, 11 and 8. They knew this was just a "simplistic" toy but were hooked. They had so much fun with them, they ran around the house together squealing at the games they discovered and shouting about how awesome they were. This wasn't a one day party favor thing where it got old fast. The kids were using these on and off for two weeks until we had to take them away so they'd take time off for a while. Over the past few weeks, I've experimented with playing Intellivision games in three different ways:
- I played the "Intellivision Lives" collection for PS2
- I played my Dad's original Intellivision 2
- I bought this reproduction console
Nothing beats the thrill of playing the original console...for the most part. However, my Dad's Intellivision 2 was prone to malfunctioning with age; some games abruptly stopped mid-stream, I had to blow into the cartridges, and the controllers were unreliable. Also, I got a serious case of sore "Intellivision thumb" from pressing the side buttons too much. As for the PS2 collection - forget it. The PS2 graphics looked hideous to me, and it's missing the D&D games.
So...I must confess that I enjoyed playing this reproduction console the most. It's super simple to set up. And it works like a charm! Within seconds, you'll be scrolling through a ... full review(90) -

The wireless controllers are great in theory but there is a slight lag time that causes problems when you trying to slide the pill on Dr Mario under a virus. You can plug in the orginaly controllers if you can stand sithing that close to the screen. Other th an the delay everything works well for NES games.(61) -

I ordered one a week or so ago. I received mine yesterday, and loaded up an old SD card with a few favorite ROMs while waiting for the unit to charge. I haven't played it much, just a couple of hours with maybe 15 or 20 different games.

+ Emulation seems pretty good. I've read some grumblings about the sound, and although it's not perfect, I find it's not bad, especially if you keep the volume relatively low. The cheap little speaker has bad distortion at high volume.
+ I found it very easy to get ROMs loaded into it via SD card. No problems there.
+ I tried some third party games such as Enduro, Donkey Kong, etc. No problems.
