"This is an excellent starting point for someone new to day trading" - By A regular guy
This is an excellent starting point for someone new to day trading. It says "Beginner's Guide" in the title for a reason. The information is clear, concise, and well presented. Very little fluff with a lot of good information on how to read charts, candlesticks, trends, and patterns. I found the information on Doji and hammer candles to be especially helpful. I only gave it 4 stars because I think it could use a little more info on how to set up a stock scanner correctly. It is also a short read. I finished it in about two hours.

    "Brilliant" - By Mikedv100
Toni is an awesome teacher and financial counselor. I've read the book twice and I still find new lessons. The tie-in with mental well-being is a great investment strategy that I firmly believe in. Read some beginner level stock market books if your brand new to the market. Otherwise, she tells you everything you need to know to get started. Wish she had a revised edition to help navigate the post 2008 market crash. Nevertheless, her lessons still apply.

    "Good Book" - By Lena
This guide to day trading is a book covering the basics of stock trading, how to get started and a few interesting tactics I was not familiar with before. This book was able to give me a step by step guide to day trading and more than several nice tips on how to reduce the excessive risk. To my mind many people will love how the author explains the issue to the newbies. They will be able to learn the system that can be developed in a profitable stock trading, which is exactly what people like me are looking for in the book like this one.

woow !!! This book is about day trading, and the way this trade differs from other sorts of trading. Day trading is still seen as an active income, like a full-time job, not a passive income that one gets beside full-time job. It is important to have a clear knowledge of the various types of difficulties you may face when it comes to getting your feet wet in the world of day trading. It has great content that will give you everything you need to start, from reading the stock quote, trading strategies that work, trading tools and a list of brokerage firms you can trust.

    "it works...." - By RichPuer
Im not going to write about the topics in this book, as you can easily find out by reading it. I will, however, give you my honest opinion of this text. There are also plenty of other good reviews you can read to get a synopsis of this title.

The book is logically written and easy to follow. You can easily conceptualize some of his techniques but wont know if they hold any truth until you put them to the test. Many reviewers have backtested his setups and claimed them false or invalid. However, we also have to remember that some setups we backtest and have great results with dont fare well in the real world. So, the backtest argument goes both ways.

The best way to put this book to the ULTIMATE test is to simply use his setups by following them to the T in the ... full review

"Simple and straight-forward discussion of Day Trading" - By Brian K. Miller (Wooster, Ohio, USA)
I picked this up as an introduction to how the stock market works and how Day Traders conduct business. This book was a very brief, easy to follow introduction to Day Trading, but it did not discuss market mechanics in depth.

Overall, especially for free, a good introduction to Day Trading, but not very informative beyond that.

"A Bible to Investing" - By A. Edwards (Bay Area, California)
Benjamin Graham’s last line in The Intelligent Investor sums up the entire book in his trade-mark common-sense way: “ To achieve satisfactory investment results is easier than most people realize; to achieve superior results is harder than it looks.” First published in 1949, this version that I read was re-published in 2005 with a forward written by John Bogle, who started Vanguard Mutual Fund. Bogle’s forward serves as a very good summary of The Intelligent Investor, highlighting key points clearly. So I found it useful to read the forward again after finishing the book as a quick refresh of its content. Graham’s language may be a bit old fashioned, so some may find his writing style takes a little bit of getting used to. However, once I got my pace of reading going, I find the old fashion style gives me a sense of comfort and assurance, ... full review

This was a amazing book. The concept of day trading is very promising as far as my online trading activity is concerned. As a starter it helped me gain insight about many terminology used and about market conditions and how to go about the whole process.

"Get started.." - By vera j.
This book is about day trading, and the way this trade differs from other sorts of trading. For someone who is already in forex or stock market, it is natural step to learn day trading next.
Book starts with understanding day trading, one has to be aware that trading involves certain amount of risks, and one has to be prepared for it. Day trading is still seen as an active income, like full time job, not a passive income that one gets beside full time job.
Succesful day traders are familiar with their own strenghts and weaknesses enough just to know if one trade looks good it doen't have neccessarily be good.
In order to be successful one has to create a plan. There are many obstacles that one has to go through before making money form day trading, like using the right technologs, getting right broker.. Nice guide ... full review

"As we speak, I am using the strategy" - By George Woodard
As someone who just started learning Options trading as of last summer and trading stocks for over 4 years, I have been buying books and scouring the internet to gain better knowledge on Technical Analysis, Options Mechanics and just sharpening my trading, this has got to be the best and most simplest book i have ever bought. Now I graduated undergrad as a Business Admin-MIS major, some emphasis in Computer Science and now studying my MBA in IS and Computer Science, i'm pretty sharp in the mind. So when I decided to start learning investing I bought a few books, which I thought were pretty good but I started to search more and more and really needed something along the lines of learning specific strategies for Intraday/Swing/Momentum trading. This book did it. Like i said I am now a more focused options trader and just bought this book two days ... full review

"Simple strategy in a well-written book" - By Yippee (Houston, TX USA)
I found this book when I was struggling with day trading momentum stocks, struggling particularly because I had trouble deciding on entries when something was moving quickly, judging whether momo would hold, etc. During that time (last fall), I purchased a number of "simple" trading books on Amazon. A lot, as other reviewers note, were pretty bad, but I think it's good to learn as much as you can about different approaches, indicators, styles of trading, setups, etc and see what works best for you, what makes sense. Brian's book was very helpful to me because it focuses on one setup and mastering that, which I think calmed me and helped me realize you could just focus on a few things instead of chasing or trying to chase what others follow in various chats (which I was not very good at). The only issue I had ... full review
