I ordered three books to help our 7-year-old granddaughter deal with the problem of lying. This one was far and away the best. It's compassionate, but it doesn't pull any punches: the kids (I mean cubs) realize that their lie has made things worse for everyone. There is a very moving passage where Mama Bear tells them that her sadness is not about the loss of her good lamp - it's because she thought she could trust her cubs, and now they're lying to her. The book emphasizes that nobody is perfect, but that lying is definitely not the solution when we screw up. Highly recommend.(351) -

This series of books is hard cardboard and sturdy for little hands. The pictures are simple and representative. The colors are bright. Some of the text needs to be a different color for the background but it's easy enough to understand what it's saying from the picture. My grandson will actually sit long enough to go through one of these books and he's only 15 months.(1,465) -

Professor Damodaran is a full professor at the New York University Stern School of Business. He is deemed to be the expert on valuation in this country, certainly on an academic level. There are real world experts in Wall Street and in corporate consulting firms like McKinsey & Company, but none have had the academic impact that this man has.

He is the first person that I have encountered who has been able to distill what many people consider to be a very difficult topic down to a simplistic discussion. We are using this to teach our four year old to read and write. We have many different products to get him interested but nothing seemed to make an impact. When I got the book I thought it was to old for my Grand daughter. It is the first book she gets at reading time. Knows the different trains and, their colors. One reason I picked it out is because it is a board book,, she is not two yet but she can turn the pages and, point to the pictures. She loves trains. I brought this book to teach my son about the dangers of strangers and never, ever, to go someplace with them even if they tempt a child with candy, toy cars or with the promise of bringing them to their mommy or daddy. It is a wonderful book and it makes teaching a child easier than just telling them that he or she may or may not fully understand about strangers. This book is a must when your child turns three years old or so.(393) -

If you want the best I MEAN BESTTTT!!! Color book out there.. Here it is.. It has advanced drawn pictures that will take you hours to finish. The paper is high quality and can withstand most coloring pencils, water color pencils and also water color in pots and liquids. It can take some markers but not the Spectrum noir markers. Those bleed through the paper. I have had good luck with the Crayola metal markers and no bleed though. There are sooo many pages in here, that if you color every day it will still take you months to finish. Most of the drawn images are in two page fold outs and alot of trees (my favourite) and also ariel views and just so many little details! Hope you enjoy. keeps my 3 yr old son busy, but i wish that it came with pictures and not just words. He likes taking it when we are on car rides, but gets upset when he doesn't know what to find, so i taught him to guess at items. the Search and go book are better when it comes to none readers
