    Crazy, Stupid, Love
    Amazon Video ~ Steve Carell
    Price: $2.99
"Review of the blu ray" - By barry (Boston, MA United States)
CRAZY STUPID LOVE is a truly heartwarming superb film. It brings the romantic comedy to a mature and modern age with wit, heartfelt humor and characters that are believable and superbly cast. Steve Carell and Julianne Moore are excellent as a married couple on the rocks. Marisa Tomei pops in with a role that makes one remember how talented she really is. But for me the true strength and heart of the film comes from Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. Ryan Gosling gives a highly entertaining comedic performance that is so multi-dimensional it will certainly take viewers by surprise as his character goes through many changes. And Emma Stone is also hilarious. She is proving herself to be an added asset to any film and here her humor is performed with a new intelligence and maturity. The film is 2 hours and ... full review

    Easy A
    Amazon Video ~ Emma Stone

"A terrific surprise" - By Robert S. Berger (aboard "Free Spirit" sloop, USA)
This film deserves a triple A+. All the actors in the cast deliver memorable, antic performances, & Emma Stone's turn makes a ridiculous amoral plot scheme into a cheer-worthy virtue parable. There are no sermons, but there are lessons. And laughs. And fun. And the on-screen emergence of a great young actress, Emma Stone.

"Wonderful movie" - By Mama Bear
I absolutely love this movie! I just had to have it for my collection. When buying movies I prefer blu ray & also I like having the digital copy. When I bought this from Amazon I selected the multi-format. That got me the blu ray & DVD only. No digital copy. I was under the impression that the 2 disk format of this movie came with the digital as well but that was my mistake, not Amazons. It also didn't come with the outer sleeve to the movie but that wasn't a big deal for me.

"If you love Woody's films" - By Jim Harper
If you love Woody's films...especially those from the last 5 years, you will really enjoy "Magic". The stars are superb, the storyline interesting and as always, the locale becomes another "character" in the film. We loved it.

    The House Bunny
    Amazon Video ~ Anna Faris
    Price: $7.99
"Can't help but compare..." - By Martin R. Goss (Los Angeles)
The minute Shelly ended up in the Zetas' sorority house, I couldn't help but remember back to another college film, Revenge of the Nerds, which came out back in '85. House Bunny seems almost the sorority counterpart of the fraternity-oriented Revenge of the Nerds, in that basically a group of students down on their luck manage to make themselves over and become more cool than their tormentors... and the film is about as risque as its 80s male counterpart. But there the similarities really end, because the plots are different.

House Bunny is an enjoyable movie if you're amused by a ditzy-acting blonde teaching "sexy smarts" to a bunch of university misfits. Revenge of the Nerds broke new ground back in '85 when it made nerdliness cool, but Faris' Shelly and appearances by Hugh Hefner himself define House Bunny as anything but a me-too film.

    Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
    Amazon Video ~ Matthew Mcconaughey
    Price: $2.99
"Great movie for my collection" - By M. Dutko (Clemmons, NC)
I found this movie highly entertaining and one I wanted to add to my collection. Matthew McConaughey is a good actor and this movie is a parody of "A Christmas Carol" which focuses on an aging ladies man who looks back on his life and determines his love for a woman with whom he once had a meaningful relationship but let slip away. This is definitely a "feel good" movie with a happy ending. The type of movie one likes to watch over and over again.
