"Yes! AOC nailed it with this latest version" - By Network man
There are some more in depth reviews already, so I will keep this short and sweet.

I purchased the previous version of AOC's usb monitor, and I was a bit disappointed with the lack of a few features. Well this version surpassed my expectations.

    Why this monitor rocks:

    1. USB 3.0 / Nice crisp image, pretty darn good quality for a monitor powered off of ONE usb port. (I don't know what people saying the quality is bad were expecting out of a monitor powered off of a single USB port)

    2. Auto rotate / Monitor software - Auto rotate to portrait to landscape and vise versa.is a cool feature. You can do a lot from the monitor's system tray icon - update to the latest monitor driver, change brightness (YES), and a few other tweaks.

    3. Slimmer, comes with nice carrying sleeve

"Stylish look. Excellent monitor. Great price!!" - By Matt (Philadelphia)
HP really stepped up their game. This is a great stylish monitor for $99 dollars! I'm using this as my secondary monitor with my 21" iMac. I am a web developer so having this extra monitor allows me to work on my main screen while viewing the pages on the HP. In order for the screen to align with the iMac, I used a plastic organizer shelf and flipped it upside down and placed the HP monitor on top of it. The HP screen is at it's brightest setting but does not match well with the iMac so I toned down the brightness on the iMac. Overall the monitor is great. No dead pixels, the texts are very sharp. It came well packaged and easy to set up (no screws necessary).

I bought 2 of this monitor! One for my coworker and he loves it as well!!

"Excellent for Computer Animation ! BEST PURCHASE EVER MADE !!" - By Rafael Yeshaya
[[VIDEOID:moOJK9OR9VA0UJ]]I'm a current student of 3D arts and computer animation. I am currently using two monitors for my projects but I felt like I should get another one as a third monitor. I'm traveling around all the time and I also having some sort of portable external monitor like this would be a big plus. So I bought this Asus Mb168B as my birthday present. I have tested this device on both 3.0 USB and non 3.0 and I felt no difference at all. It's slim. It's light. It's really HD. I had NO PROBLEM WITH THE COVER AT ALL. By the way, I have made a video tutorial about how to use the case for this External monitor right here

    [...]

I don't understand these many people giving bad reviews about this cover/stand. I think it's kind lame. Even if you read the manual, it's gonna ... full review

"nice monitor for dual-display" - By Yingchuan Hu
Nice big display with narrow edges. I bought 2 to set up a dual view for my laptop at home. I'm really enjoying them right now.
    Things to REMIND:
    1. This monitor only come with VGA cable. You may want to buy another cable or a converter to use on your device.
    2. If you're trying to build a dual-display for your laptop, make sure you have 2 display ports on your laptop. If not, use a docking station instead. A splitter would only mirror your displays rather than extend it.
I'll keep up to see their further performance.

    "Solid Monitor!" - By J
Solid Monitor for a low cost. I have duel monitor set up. My old monitor isn't being sold anymore (HP 2009m) so purchased the AOC 20-inch LED monitor.

I'll say the colors are different, after some tweaking I made them pretty close to that same. I think the HP 2009m is better, but it's also a LCD and was roughly $200 when I bought it. I was debating whether to get a second AOC monitor so my duel set-up would match and I wouldn't have to worry about the colors being slightly different. But I think with enough tweaking the colors are close enough to not bug me.

I suppose if anyone was curious whether you could do duel screens with a different monitor the answer is: Yes.

"Very happy I did" - By TOYnn (Seattle, WA)
Was having a hard time deciding between monitors and was going to go with the U2417H model but in the end went with these. Very happy I did. At work I use the P series Dell monitors which are in between cost of the SE and Ultra series. These SE ones seem to have every bit the same sharp font, color as the P series ones I use. Not sure if they use the same IPS panels but its possible. These SE series lack some features but since I was able to get two for less than the cost of one "U" series 24" monitor I can deal with the missing features. I run dual displays using the HDMI and a DVI to HDMI cable which wasn't any more expensive than a regular HDMI cable.

Pros: Excellent image, clear sharp text and colors. Excellent price ($99).
Cons: Lack of ... full review

"Good monitor" - By Amazon Customer (Lula, Ga United States)
I ordered two of these and a dual monitor stand. After much research I had a few hesitations about ordering these as they are the same hardware it appears as the VS238H which as a lot of reviews here and on new egg.

So to address the complaints I saw in 1% of the reviews.

First complaint I saw was the stands. I can see how the stands could leave a little to be desired but these things are so light and thin a more substantial base would look out of place. I personally wouldn't let this take away from the monitor. Since I am not using the included stands that is where I will leave this.

The second issue I had seen people complain about was the uneven back light. If you look for it in darker modes under motion you ... full review

"Once you go 1440p, you don't go back (Must buy for non or light gamers, Heavy gamers read on)" - By Michael J. Gandara (Brea, California)
I've been saving money to upgrade my 32" 720p TV even though it's still going strong for almost 4 years because:

    1) It's on my desk and it takes up a lot of space
    2) While 720p is easier on my graphics card, the image quality basically cancels out how easily i can max out most settings on modern games.

I would say when i'm at a monitor, 1/3 of the time I'm gaming the other 2/3 are just basic web browsing and YouTube consumption. 720p on a 32 inch TV sitting less than 6 feet from it would probably make most enthusiast PC gamers either cringe or cry (or both). I knew that while the 2/3rds I spend doing non-gaming activities would benefit from a higher resolution, my GPU would choke on it. I have been eyeing this Acer monitor because of how affordable it is (get ... full review

I've been using a 24" monitor, so you can imagine the difference. Crisp, clear images with beautiful color. This monitor is ULTRA THIN and very sleek! Looks great on the desktop and provides edge-to-edge screen surface. Very happy with this purchase!

"Additional Monitor Needed" - By Jimbo (Florida)
The USB additional monitor device works good with excellent picture quality. Don't expect high performance graphics to be the best. For general computing it is good. Important note: This device is powered from the USB connection. That mean without an external power source, if your USB port is not up to full power or you are using a pcmcia card, the device will not operate properly.

    "Great Monitor" - By Invictus
I was honestly surprised by the build quality from Dell, someone who I have had issues with in the past. 23" might also not seem like much, but for those of you who are used to office desktops this will be plenty for you. I do a ton of gaming on my computer and this is good enough to be my primary monitor and give me great performance. The screen also tilts and seems to be pretty flexible. If you are looking for a cheap work monitor or one for general 1080p gaming, this one is for you.

Awesome monitors! I purchased 3 of these with some vesa adapter brackets (They are not really vesa mountable without them) and they work great! The thin bezel really helps.
