This is a pretty fun game. The rules are simple and straight forward. Five seconds feels like no time at all... until you realize that a lot of people are making it in that time. The timer is fun although slightly flawed. I mean it makes nose, but sometimes a ball or two just gets stuck... but it's a really fun timer to dink around with. I think our groups biggest issue with the game was it turned to be too easy with several categories... except sports, hah. Without going into the specifics, it seemed like people either flew through the cards and didn't at all... as in no amount of time would have mattered.
I'd say this is an okay game for a trivia focused group, but not great. This makes for a pretty good family game since you'll hit a variety of ages and skillsets. It's not ... full review(1,458) -

Super fun game! I bought this game based on the reviews and am so glad I did. It has quickly become our favorite!! I will admit, when I read the directions I was a little concerned and couldn't see how this was going to be fun. My family was looking at me with scowls on their faces also unconvinced (3 teenagers 15-18). But we decided to give it a try. Once we started playing the fun was like wildfire. Now it is our go to game. Anyone we invite to play with us always asks us to describe it and we try but end up saying just 'play' you'll see how much fun it is. I highly recommend it!(891) -

This is super-cool! I am divorced, but since I started dating a new man seriously, I wanted a fun way to know each other more deeply. I adore the questions--for example "When are you most attracted to me?" is the card I pulled today. On the flip side was "What is your greatest source of stress right now and how can I be helpful". There are biblical verses or other quote at the bottom of each question that contextualizes the cards. Plus the cards are sturdy.
It's so worth the price and the answers to these questions throughout a relationship can certainly enhance how deeply you understand each other's specific needs, wants, joys, insights, and dreams.

I bought this game for my 9-year-old son. While it was fun to play, we seemed to be able to hang all the pieces. One day I happened to be at a thrift store and there was a set for sale - so I bought it. I am so glad I did - this game is way more fun with more pieces. While we did discover that you could make the base twice as high with the second set - the weight caused it to topple over. So if you do buy two sets, just use the regular sized base and all of the squiggly pieces. My 5-year old likes playing it by himself and getting all the pieces to balance symmetrically (I should have taken a picture, as it was pretty cool).(2,584) -

I came across this fun game while looking for games and activities I could play with my son and nephews. It seemed like lots of fun and something my family would really enjoy. I placed my order and received exceptionally prompt and courteous service. The Family Fun "Liar" game was shipped super fast and was packaged neat and secure. The packaging of the game is really cute and funny and when my son saw it, he couldn't wait to play! The game comes with the blue glasses (4 pair) that are pictured, playing cards, a colorful game board center piece, and detachable nose pieces that easily fit onto the glasses.

I bought this based on the reviews here. I was skeptical, because honestly it sounded kind of hard to come up with funny movie titles on the fly. For the first combination, we all stared at our empty slates for a good long while, and I thought the game would be an epic fail, but then in the end, it turned out that we are hilarious. Once we realized that we needed to move beyond trying to make puns on existing movie titles and instead be our own exceedingly random selves, the fun picked right up. The premise of the game is to come up with a movie title that matches an adjective, noun, and movie genre. My one complaint is that exact matching all three in one hopefully funny title can be pretty tough. We wound up having 5-10 min of blank stares followed by about a minute of ... full review(49) -
