"Product as stated, quick install" - by S. Paek (Chandler, AZ United States)
Delivered on time, with the products described: springs, winding bats, & plastic bushing. Quick install, but apparently I measured wrong, so these total length I bought was larger (which is good as there is less stress on the spring). However this did mean that I needed more than the generic rule of 30 1/4-turns of preload. I wound up with 38 1/4-turns per side for the door to balance when open 3' (per familyhandyman.com recommendations). Would definitely do it again.
No instructions were included, thus the reference to the above site for DIY help.

"Work Great!" - by JT
My garage torsion spring broke and both of my cars were stuck inside. It's the pain to lift 150-lb garage door without the torsion spring since my garage had only 1 spring on the right.
I went on Garage Door Nation website to look at the conversion chart from 1 to 2 torsion springs. For my 1 spring, size 2"/0.250ID/30.5" length, they recommended 2 of 2"/0.207ID/24" length. I got this kit from Amazon for $64 with $11 overnight shipping even though I could get free shipping through Prime over the weekend, but I couldn't wait for 3 more painful days. Installed it followed YouTube video. Worked better than my old one, a lot quieter. Check the video if you want to install one yourself. Professional installation costs hundreds of $$$:

"Good quality springs" - by Steve
Product was received in two days and was as advertised. Installing these myself saved around $150 but it took around 2-3 hours. I would imagine everyone's experience is going to be different. These springs appear to be heavier duty than the ones they replaced. I couldn't use the same slots for tension as the old ones and it was trial and error in adjusting the length of my pull cable until the door closed as it should. I need to replace the springs on my other garage door and would think that will take less than an hour based on what I learned from the first install.

"DIY!!" - by simis69 (south west florida)
Received all items as indicated, I would recommend purchasing a metal center bearing also, other Than the plastic that this comes with. Install was easy and strait forward. hardest part was finding how many turns to tighten those springs?? I used a general rule of thumb of a full turn for every ft. Of door. 4 quarter turns equals 1 full turn. I found that 26 balanced the door perfectly. These springs seem a little smaller than what was there however, the coil itself is the same. (Pic) After installing, I recommend oiling the springs with some motor oil. This will help with rust and noise. Good luck with yours, it's worth the work for the saving!!

"Easy to do it yourself, save money!!!" - by SacSurplusClearanceCenter
Replacement spring procedure took me exactly 1 hours including preparation and clean-up for double aluminum garage door. Watch the DIY video on Youtube, save $$, be careful with winding the torsion springs. Rule of thumb: 7' height door garage= 7' x 4 (each 1/4 turn) + 1 = 29 turns (1/4 turn), 8' height door garage = 8' x 4 + 1 = 33 turns (1/4 turn), and so on....

Make sure to insert the winding bar completely inside the hole prior turning. Be safe, easy work and save a lot of $$$.

"The garage door opens now!" - by Ron J
The new garage door torsion springs arrived earlier than expected, and are working great. One of our door springs had broken and made it impossible to park our car in the garage for a week until I could get the broken spring replaced. It was easy to do, and I saved a lot of money doing the repair job by myself.

"I lived to tell the tale" - by freddiegriggs (Great Plains, USA)
Fixed my garage door and saved $150 compared with calling the guy out again. These rods really helped. They fit well into the holes on the adjustment cones that tighten the springs -- not too tight, not too loose. Well worth the investment versus trying to make do with something that's not really up to the job.

Tip: before you start, slip each rod into the hole as far as it will go. Then wrap a piece of masking tape around the rod just where it emerges from the hole. This gives you a guide as to how far you need to slip the rod in with each turn.

Take your time and make sure the rod is seated well on each quarter-turn. If you try to go too fast it's easy to not insert the rod far enough.

Although inherently dangerous, if you take your time ... full review
