    "Hire The Best and Free Tibet Goji-Chocolate Creme Pie" - By H. Le (Philadelphia, PA United States)
    It takes a conscious effort for me to choose a book and to spend the time read it through. It is especially rare for me to write a review because that is a dedication of couple of uninterrupted hours (almost an impossible feat in my family with a relentless toddler). With that being said, this book compelled me to share my opinion because I think it gives an extraordinary first person (Laszlo Block) account of how a company (Google) excel with its talent acquisition, retainment, development, and sometimes termination. And most importantly, its continuous improvement to anticipate the needs of an ever-expanding company.

    I believe the book itself attracts three primary types of audience;
    (1) Managers and Executives who are looking to build a stronger team/company
    (2) Human Resource personnel looking to develop themselves and their organization
    (3) And finally, people who are interested in innovation/new ideas
    I happen ... full review

    "Fantastic Read!" - By Busy Mom (Pittsburgh, PA)
    This book was a great balance of being entertaining and informational. There are some great anecdotes about life at Google (e.g. Eric Schmidt sharing his office after an engineer sawed a desk in half or dealing with the challenge on whether to pull out of China) and some witty insights applicable to most companies (e.g. watch out for HiPPOs = Highest Paid Person's Opinion or Hiring Do's & Don'ts). There are also a few jokes along the way (cattle list for change) and some great quotes (Jim Barksdale-“If we have data, let’s look at data. If all we have are opinions, let’s go with mine.”). I really enjoyed the book and found a lot of ideas to apply at my job too.

    "The new University of the XXIst century?" - By Herve Lebret (Lausanne, Switzerland)
    In the Plex is an(other) amazing book about my favorite company. Google is the reason why I wrote a book about start-ups: When I did a PowerPoint presentation in 2006 gathering what I knew about the Mountain View start-up, some friends told me to write a more general book about start-ups. Which I did in 2007. And then a blog...

    I have read already three books about Google and this one is as good as the previous ones. Maybe better. So I should thank here Michele Catasta, who advised me to read it when I did last June my updated presentation of the 2006 one. And I should certainly have read before this book published in 2011… I have also posted many articles about the company, just check with the tag Google. But I learnt many things In the Plex, and it is what I want to focus with ... full review

    "great book" - By Maggie A (New York City, NY United States)
    This book is excellent. I am a librarian. I took a reference class years ago. This book would have been a great supplement to the course.

    "Excellent read for advanced and experienced users" - By Crispee (Westminster, CO United States)
    This is not an intro to Sketchup, and doesn't really cover the actual program in depth so if you are a beginner or even novice user -- this probably is not the best book to get. But if you are already familiar with the application then this workshop in a book can be an invaluable resource as a "behind-the-scenes" look at how real professionals actually use the program, why they chose it, and how they integrate it into real-world projects.

    I can't remember another book of this type that reveals so many pro tips and tricks as this book (especially those that involve things other than SketchUp.) The worldwide professional interviewed reveal their workflow, their favorite programs to use in their work, how they use them, plugins, and more. You can tell that this is not just a Google book or "missing manual" type of publication ... full review
