"Awesome for Poison Ivy too!" - by carole (MA, USA)
My husband uses this suit for pulling out ample amounts of poison ivy in the backyard. He tapes the gloves to the suit, and covers it with yet another layer of protective gloves. So far, so good. He is very sensitive to poison ivy, and this suit (along with a number of Tecnu products) does a wonderful job of keeping him projected. Would definitely recommend!

"Practical and Fun" - by Amazon Customer
I've used a few of the basic Tyvek suits for home improvement projects and found them to be great. Being somewhat chemical resistant, the Tychem version seems a bit sturdier fabric so hope to get a bit more use out of it before it shreds (remember... they are supposed to be disposable). Also makes for a great Walter White costume on Halloween.

"Medium a pretty good fit for 5'8" tall guy" - by DadBod (USSA)
I was doing a small attic cable install project, which involved dealing with blown-in fiberglass insulation. Yep, exactly the kind of stuff you don't want to get on your skin, or in your lungs.

The coveralls, along http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002YKBV2/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 did a great job of keeping the nasty stuff away! They also feature rubber feet and hand openings, so that they fit snugly around your gloves and shoes.

However, be prepared to sweat a lot, as they do not breathe at all. I stripped to a t-shirt while working in the attic in December. In the summer, it could be next to impossible to accomplish the task while fully suited up.

"These are so totally awesome it is not even funny I wore them all ..." - by smurfmonkey
These are so totally awesome it is not even funny I wore them all day long and can still wear them a couple more times and the fact that your shoes are covered all at one time that is even the best thing

"It's yellow." - by R. Ruddock (Davis, CA)
I used this as a cheap halloween costume, and it got the job done. But at 6'2 and being a pretty large guy, even the 2XL was a stretch for me. I couldn't sit down in it without unzipping and getting out of the top half, though I imagine you're not *supposed* to be able to sit in a hazmat suit.

Also, it is a sweatbox. Seriously. You will sweat tremendously in this thing.

I can provide no comment on its chemical resistances because my halloween did not involve visits to any hazardous materials sites or disease hotspots.

"I purchased four of them in the mistaken belief that ..." - by Private Pilot
I purchased four of them in the mistaken belief that it was a functioning item. Original description did not indicate that it was a costume item. Description has since been changed to indicate that this is a costume item.

"Practical even for homeowner" - by Buyer
Although presumably designed for professional use, I bought this for use around the house when I wanted something to protect my clothes/skin from undesirable contact (chemical exposure when spraying, crawling under the house or in the attic). At slightly over 6', I took the advice of others and bought XL which goes on easily over my clothes. Also as reported by others, you get hot inside pretty quick, but I consider that a small price to pay for the protection it offers. Although theoretically disposable, I hope to get a lot of use out of mine and plan on taking care of it.

Money saving hint: The lowest price on Amazon varies from about $9-$14 over time, so if you plan ahead and monitor the pricing, you can save about $5.

Update: 2/27/17 So four years later, and I'm still using the original "disposable" suit. Of course I don't abuse it, but ... full review

"I use it when crawling under my house" - by Ed J. Hayes (Oregon)
I am 5'11", 165lbs and the large allows good movement for me.

I wear this when I need to go into my crawlspace. It keeps my cloths clean and I can generally reuse the jumper a few times.

I recommend it!

"Can't beat a low cost chem suit!" - by Joshua C. H. Greer (Quad Cities, Illinois)
I will start by saying my review is based on the look of the item, NOT the functionality.

I bought a couple of these to be used as outfits for props in my Halloween decorations. I needed some cheap chem suits that looked real and let me tell you since these are real chem suits i got exactly what I needed. The price as well for these indicates they are cheaper suits but again, for my purpose they work perfectly.

I did try these on and did find them to be comfortable as well as provide good coverage if one was to use in a real application such as spraying chemicals or painting... etc. The attached boot covers are nice as well.

"and tear easily. Not sure if I like the attached booties" - by Buckeyeproud (Mansfield Ohio)
These do the job of full coverage. They are a thin, paper-like
material, and tear easily. Not sure if I like the attached booties,
we had to cut the toe off so my husband could fit them into his
boots. Could be a little roomier, my husband is 6ft and about
240 pds. This was a little snug for him height-wise. Excellent
price for this, we paid about $5 for each suit.

"Great for fruit tree spraying" - by David Stichter (Milford, Indiana United States)
I use this while applying fruit tree spray in my orchard. I stay dry and they aren't too hot. Well worth the price and I've purchased 2 more.
