What can you say, it's a switch, it worked. I docked it one star because it arrived red instead of the pictured yellow that is standard for John Deere.
Looking back at this I see it's a bit terse. I should have mentioned that the switch snapped easily into place, and has the same connection layout as the original. It has now worked fine for years.(32) -

Used these spindles to replace the noisy originals for my 9 year old L100. YES, you have to use the self-tapping bolts that came with the originals and YES it can be difficult to do. I used my vise to hold the spindles in place while I used the original bolts (stored in a shed, no corrosion), and a socket/extension/ratchet combo for the tapping portion. I added the extension so that it would be easier to make sure the bolts were going in straight! Once the spindles were in place, I used my grease gun to add a bit of lube to the replacement parts. I'm relieved to say that I didn't think my mower was this quiet when I bought it new. These replacement spindles were worth every penny.(384) -
