Used these spindles to replace the noisy originals for my 9 year old L100. YES, you have to use the self-tapping bolts that came with the originals and YES it can be difficult to do. I used my vise to hold the spindles in place while I used the original bolts (stored in a shed, no corrosion), and a socket/extension/ratchet combo for the tapping portion. I added the extension so that it would be easier to make sure the bolts were going in straight! Once the spindles were in place, I used my grease gun to add a bit of lube to the replacement parts. I'm relieved to say that I didn't think my mower was this quiet when I bought it new. These replacement spindles were worth every penny.(384) -

Bought this rebuilding kit to rebuild my JD 108, It fit perfectly and even has a grease zues fitting to great the spindles. The only thing that is missing from this kit is new bolts for the spindles. You can buy them separately but the ones I bought where a 1/4 inch too long, and where not self tapping and had to be cut down.
This kit is a great buy and of good quality.(183) -

Should have installed one of these years ago. Works great, eliminated having to do any raking, thought I might have to get the mulching blades but can't see any need for them the mulch cover does the job without the addition of the mulch blades. Installation was simple and quick.(110) -

This is not OEM obviously and I think that's a good thing. The screen material seems finer. The build quality is better for sure and the canister size is a little larger and better shaped to facilitate fuel flow.(476) -

This item fit appropriately. I appreciate the construction and the fit. I do however have a problem with John Deere's parts numbers. There are a great deal of parts numbers that make little to no sense when your researching spare parts. This item was very difficult to find, and I wasn't sure upon purchase if it would fit at all.(118) -

I got it in about 3 days, which was good. However I did have to tap the holes and buy 2 blades because the John Deere blades won't work on these spindles. I'd say if you can find a deal that includes the spindles, blades, and belts you'd be better off.(98) -

Worked perfectly after welding And grinding surface smooth where cracked. Actually aligned and tacked to deck, then welded area tacked about 1 " and was a PIECE completely missing near one hole size of nickel and fully refilled to ring! Perfect Repair and wife commented on how nice lawn looked!(87) -
