"Best non-hooded Sports/beach/leisure chair available!" - by luvs2bmom (Maine)
These chairs are the absolute best beach or field/sports chairs that you can buy for this money! They don't sag in the middle and ate big enough for people pushing 300lbs yet allow comfort for children as young as 6-7 and that is something that is almost impossible to do in one chair. The only small cons if you can even call them cons are that they require you to push a button when folding or unfolding and that may be a safety mechanism and if it isn't, the company could sure argue that it is and the other small issue that as you can see does not take away any stars is that it is big so it's definitely not light and could be difficult for a small or less able birdie person to carry. The best features beyond its design and comfort is the fact that it does ... full review

"Finally found a chair I am happy with." - by Laurie Dobro (CNY)
This is my 3rd attempt at ordering a comfortable portable lightweight chair that will support my size and be comfortable. It was easy to assemble, the directions were almost perfect and it is comfortable and supportive.

"Great chairs that will not disappoint" - by Joe
Both chairs were compact enough for inside of backpack. Lightweight and durable. Assembly is a breeze no tools necessary. Used on a three day backpacking trip with no issues. Even used in shallow water on banks of river for fishing. Great chairs that will not disappoint!

"Exceptional value and almost as good as the 5 star Helinox" - by MJB9
Almost as good as the Helinox available on Amazon! That says a lot.

It actually weighs approx 24 (26 including the 2oz sack); that's approx 4 oz lighter than the Helinox. That weight savings comes at a reduced weight capacity (thinner mesh and thinner poles). Practically puts itself together by shaking the legs. I found it easier getting the mesh onto the legs, but installing the bottom two first, then the back/top. It is slightly shaky, but that's just by design. I felt no worries about it breaking. It's very price effective considering the "real" one available on Amazon twice the cost. I compared and while the mesh on the knock off is slightly thinner, as are the legs (legs approx 3/32" thinner), it held me no problem (6' 0" @ 180lbs), even when twisting/rocking it.

See pics. Blue is Helinox, red is a knock off available here on Amazon. For the ... full review

"Chair that does everything for half the price of the top models" - by J
This chair is incredible! I have been shopping around for a chair like this for a while. I have looked at Helinox which my friends have and they seem good but I'm not ready to drop $100 on a camping chair. This chair is perfect, it has all of the same components and materials and half the price.

Pros:
Small-compared to my tailgating chairs that you can get at a grocery store, this is less than half the size.
Light-it's also drastically lighter as well. Thinking of clipping this to my pack on a backpacking trip into the Uinta's
Comfortable-fits me very well. Also back panel is mesh so you don't get too sweaty. Larger people might have trouble fitting in these chairs.
Convenience-snaps together extremely quickly, not hard at all to set up chair
Carrying case-Mesh! If chair gets wet then it is still allowed to dry!
Bonus- no other chairs have this. Terragrip feet! I ... full review

"PERFECT TRAVEL CHAIR" - by Jan Dalgleish
Waited to write this review until I used the chair in mexico for 5 weeks. Loved the chair. My husband and I each took one in our checked luggage on the plane. We used it at our beach rental almost daily during our stay. The legs are easy to adjust, the chair easy to put together, lightweight and easy to carry. We left it put together for most of our stay, put our towels, book, lotion in the seat and carried it down to the beach. We worried about the sand making the legs "stick", but to our surprise it was easy to empty out the sand and adjust the legs. We would read for a few hours in the chair and found them completely comfortable. He liked the legs a little higher, me a little lower. When we went to ... full review

"Very comfortable, collapses into a very small bag." - by tideguy
This is a very comfortable chair that collapses into a very small bag, maybe the most compact of its class. It's easy to put together and take down. There's no guessing what goes where. The internal shock cords mean that the structure practically assembles itself when you take it out of the bag. All you do is secure the joints that suggest themselves, and then stretch on the fabric.

Common sense should tell you that a widebody person might be better served with a larger more substantial chair, but this is certainly not just a kid's chair. I'm of average body type and weigh 180. Yes it's low, but I have little difficulty getting out of it. You can get chairs with a higher seat but that means longer poles, more weight, and a less compact package. I like this chair a lot, because I didn't want a bulky package to ... full review

"Sturdy & Comfortable Outdoor Camping Chair" - by Parker
I just returned from a 3-day camping trip, where we brought two of these padded arm chairs, along with CORE's 6 Person tent:
[[ASIN:B00VFGKUIK CORE 6 Person Instant Cabin Tent - 11' x 9']]

What a comfortable arm chair! It is extremely sturdy, no shaking or movement whatsoever when legs are fully extended. The padding is very comfortable, material is soft and plush. The extendable cup holder is great, fits most regular water bottles, glass bottles and aluminum cans. Side gear pocket is a great size for electronics, small wallets, keys and other valuables. As a test, I sat in this chair for about 4 hours straight while watching TV before the trip. Absolutely no soreness from prolonged sitting and I kinda forgot I was even sitting in the thing until commercial breaks. After a few days of use, I've compiled a quick list of my observations:

Pros:
- Everything.
- The built in gear ... full review

"So far, so GREAT" - by April
I haven't hiked with this yet, but the chair itself seems pretty stellar!!! It's lightweight, yet seems very sturdy - unless of course, you lean forward. Yea, don't do that! The size of it packed is super impressive! Also, it looks like I'll be getting another since my child has apparently taken this one over!

So much sturdier than many of the compact chairs I've seen. We use these to sit in the river and they are such nice quality. The carrying cases with the handle are a bonus too! My only wish is that this chair had cup holders and a waterproof pocket for keys/etc.

"Perfect size" - by Tami T. (Colville)
Love this chair for two! The backrest is slightly reclined. More so than a typical chair for one that I have always had. This chair is also lower to the ground so for my 5'3" little legs, it fits me super well. I can lay across it too (with my legs on it). I love it!!! Cup holders have two parts. One for a cup and one soot for other stuff!

"Sturdy, more comfortable than it looks!" - by WayneChicago (Fox Valley, Illinois USA)
Sturdy, I first saw these at a big box store and sat in it. The back support m,akes a huge difference. The triangular ones that have no back support -- and I think this same company makes that one, too -- is nowhere near as comfortable. So, if you are debating with or without the back support, pay more for the support.

Construction is good, does fold up very well, and is quite comfortable. I'm only 169 lbs, 5' 9" though, so if you're a big person, you might want to find one at a store and try it first. It is much quicker and smaller than the "bag chairs", and I could use this for extended time, such as at a ballgame. It's likely heavier, though, than you'd want to bring on a hiking or backpacking trip (estimate 3 lbs) and if you are ... full review

"Such a shame." - by Taylor
I have had such high hopes for this camp chair. I opened it up; it came in a nice carry bag. Sat in the chair with TONS of room and high off the ground, and noticed 2 tears - one on the chair fabric, and one of the fabric straps used to anchor the arms was nearly torn in half. I have uploaded pictures, and as of now, one star.

*Update*
Returned the chair with tears for a new one. The replacement came quickly and met all my expectations. It's a quality product, just check the material immediately.
