"Little House Nine-Book Box Set Paperback – Box set, May 30, 1994" - by 3in1
This set is printed in the USA. The "search inside this book" only shows two images, neither of which are from this particular set. I think the images might be from the gingham check set. The illistrations are in black and white, and the paper is a light gray, as you normally see in less expensive books.

I purchased this set new, through AMAZON PRIME; and for the money, it is well worth it. All nine books in beautifully colored covers. One day, it would be nice to see the books printed on quality paper; but the price would definitely go up. All things considered, I am happy with the purchase.

There is another box set, October 2004, which has full color illustrations, but is only a set of the first 5 books. I do not know what kind of paper the stories are printed ... full review

"I realised what it was like to become immersed in the characters of a novel ..." - by Peggy Geiger (Kansas City, MO)
This story opened my eyes as a very young girl to the awe and magic of books. For the first time, I realised what it was like to become immersed in the characters of a novel and enchanted with the loves and lives of Meg, Jo, Beth, Amy and of course, Laurie. As I was transported back to New England during the Civil War era, this book ignited a love of historical fiction that I have to this day at the old age of 69.
As a child with no sisters, I read with wonder the day to day relationship between the sisters, leaving me envious and longing for that kind of closeness. When I first read this book, my youngest brother was very ill and died soon after, I felt such sorrow and empathy for frail, gentle Beth.
"Little Women" has the grace and charm of the 18th century and is ... full review

"Great Baby Gift!" - by Storylady
These books are so well done. The illustrations are bright and colorful and the text is whimsical and clever. This set includes most of the concept style books so valuable for early literacy fundamentals. Highly recommend this set for anyone with small children. Series includes colors, numbers, upper and lower case alphabets (separate books) and the months of the year. Dearly hope there are books coming on shapes and opposites. That would be wonderful.

"who woulda thunk" - by wayner41
Two years ago I would have bet a bazillion dollars I would never read a "girls" book. But at 71 years of age I found myself in a house full of books only one of which I had not read. I am terrribly addicted to reading so, in desperation, I started "Anne of Green Gables". It is a marvelous book with a main character I wish I could meet every day in real life. Again to feed my addiction I bought the "Anne of Green Gables" series. Each book was a delight and I soon forgot that they were "girls" books. Maud created a character we all need in our life. She turns the mundane magical and believable. Reading them all in nearly a continous setting makes Anne "wearying" to quote Marilla since unbounded child-like wonder is hard to maintain. I wish I had read these books decades ago so ... full review

"Great keepsake for a Paw Patrol birthday!" - by A Girl in the World (West Virginia)
My son loves Paw Patrol and wanted to have a Paw Patrol birthday party for his 5th birthday.

One of the ideas I found on Pinterest, was to have this book and have all the guests sign it.

It was such a cute addition to the party. Guests were able to leave him birthday messages throughout the book and he loves reading the book and having me read him all the notes they left.

For under $4, it was a great addition to the party and created a keepsake he will be able to cherish for years to come.

The story itself is an adaptation of the Paw Patrol episode, "Pups Turn on the Lights" from Season 1. Just like in the episode, the pups are planning a surprise birthday party for Chase at Katie's pet salon. During the preparations, one of the windmills has a blade break and the power ... full review

"Don't hesitate, this game is amazing" - by Renee
I have never played DnD before picking up this book (along with the DM guide, the Monster Manual, and an adventure module), so I'm going to aim this review at brand new players.

First, the book quality is top-notch. The hardcover and binding are not cheap and can withstand a nice amount of passing around( which you will do alot). The artwork is also highly detailed throughout the entire book.

Second, as far as learning the game goes, it will require a few dedicated hours of reading, but shouldn't be seen as a daunting task (if I learned to play this, then you definitely can as well). Regardless of that though, this book makes everything very easy to learn and thoroughly details everything you need to know, including amazing examples where necessary. My party and I were able to get at least all the basics down and begin playing within a few ... full review

"Get Ready To Learn Alot of Dinosaurs!" - by Melissa (Chicago)
This is my 3 yr old sons FAVORITE book. He wants to read it all the time. Only issue with that is its a long book (over 100 pages) and its pretty factual. Perfect for a budding little 3yr old want to be paleontologist! I know so much about dinosaurs now and so does he! This is not a book with dinosaur stories, this pictures of dinosaurs and several facts about them. Its broken down by size, with chapters for small, big, giant and gigantic dinosaurs.
As a parent reading the book, I also love how they put the phonetic translation of the names. It only takes a few times sounding it out to learn how to say some of the names.
Ive honestly hidden the book for a few weeks because I was tired of reading him 100 dinosaurs out loud, but thats a ... full review

"A Very Big Adventure Away from the Biggs for the Littles" - by Donald Mitchell (Thanks for Providing My Reviews over 132,000 Helpful Votes Globally)
Researchers constantly find that reading to children is valuable in a variety of ways, not least of which are instilling a love of reading and improved reading skills. With better parent-child bonding from reading, your child will also be more emotionally secure and able to relate better to others. Intellectual performance will expand as well. Spending time together watching television fails as a substitute.
To help other parents apply this advice, as a parent of four I consulted an expert, our youngest child, and asked her to share with me her favorite books that were read to her as a young child. The Littles Take a Trip was one of her picks.
If you do not yet know the Littles, you should. They are tiny people (six inches or less tall) who live undetected in the Bigg's house. They are just like full-size people, except that they have tails! ... full review

"Well, now we know" - by D. Lubin (Gainesville, Ga USA)
On Goodreads, a lot of people were wondering how Michael Connelly was going to keep Harry Bosch going, given that he is now past 65 and not exactly in great shape. There were many very intriguing options mentioned. However, no one that I saw thought about a Ballard/Bosch combo. I read "The Late Show," liked it and looked forward to more books about Detective Ballard. However, I didn't see the Bosch connection until I started reading "Dark Sacred Night." Well, now we know. The book is streamlined and has a great pace. Ballard is a great addition to the Connelly family. I enjoyed the book and recommend it. Until next time....

"An Essential Tome for the 5E Dungeon Master" - by Force10JC (Houston)
This book is essential for all serious 5E Dungeon Master's and is a vital compliment to the Player's Handbook and Dungeon Master's Guide. The content is that valuable. It really does a good job of spelling out everything you need to know about general design and use of the Monsters and Non-Player Character's it contains while offering flexibility to meet the needs of your unique adventure.

Some may not like the way that content is laid-out but if you use it often, lay-out will become less an issue. Custom organize the data within so that it works best for your personal campaign. If necessary, tweak them with the suggestions provided, or make your own.

The artwork is also superb but it was a secondary consideration for me. That said, the artwork may inspire you to use some of these monster's for your next adventure or it may ... full review

"Beautiful Illustrations" - by Bridget P. (New Hampshire)
I was super excited about this book for my toddler. The illustrations are beautiful, which is what honesty caught my eye. Most kids like a book with pretty pictures! I was expecting there however to be more content. There is not as much storyline or writing on each page as I would have expected. This is still a very cute story, but my toddler at this point prefers books with more story, and that take longer to read.

"So cute you should to buy the bigger version!" - by Leah Wojciechowski (ORLANDO, FL, US)
These books are so cute and fun! The illustrations have so much detail and bring so much life and personality to each pea. My 18 month old daughter loves to look at them and talk about what they're doing, which is why I RECOMMEND BUYING THE LARGER HARDCOVER VERSION. It's well worth the price difference to be able to easily see each pea without having to bring it closer to your face (which makes it harder to read together). We love this book, it will make a great addition to your little one's library!
