Very nice desk for the price. Delivery was excellent, Amazon used a freight company called Pilot and they were friendly and professional. They called 30 minutes ahead to let me know that they were close to being here. Once here they brought the box in for me and let me inspect it.
Assembly took roughly 45 minutes. The instructions were very clear and showed exactly where and which direction all included hardware was supposed to be. I was impressed with the directions. Its easy to take for granted clear concise directions with good quality illustrations showing you exactly the orientation of hardware.
To assemble you will need a phillips head screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver, and a small hammer or mallet. None of these tools are included.

This desk went together well, it took my husband and I about 4 hours to put it together. I put all the parts in order before we began. We are using them as independent units and the book case is a little wobbly, perhaps the connecting piece would make it sturdier.(115) -

Very, very heavy and sturdy. We put it together where it was going to stay.
I am a gamer and bought this desk for the space. Have a U3014 Dell monitor which fits perfectly on the raised top. The keyboard shelf is the right height for me. I am a 5'9.5" female and I have PLENTY of room to stretch out. My computer is an 18x18x18x18 cube and it fits nicely on top. It's a custom built Digital Storm.
The cubbies offer a lot of storage for all kinds of things. Behind the door I have an old laptop in a shoulder bag that fits inside well.
The surface top is nice and big for doing writing to printing.

I bought this white desk for my mom's house as I have the black one at mine. I have taken apart and re-put together mine three times through my moves and it survived everyone with no problem. Her white one was just as easy to put together, although its more of a cream color.
Only one lil thing to look out for: The top of the desk will not hold up to tape and will peel if tape gets stuck. (My kids did a project on my desk one day and ruined the desk top) Although, I decided to keep mine and repaint the top. (mine is six years old)(96) -

This is an excellent desk! Been using this desk for years and I love it, along with the entire collection. I'm a graphic designer and also run my own business, plenty of room for monitors, hard drives, any tech you work with, along with all the other essentials of a desk! I would have gave this 5 stars if it were not for a few items.
I wish I could have swapped the drawers/file drawers with computer monitor storage. The picture is exactly how it will be assembled.
Well built desk overall, with the exception of the drawer sliders. The opening for the drawers is just a bit wider than the drawers themselves so the sliders aren't fitting like they should. I will try to adjust in the future.
Also, I liken myself to a handy individual and putting this desk together took me around 8-9 hours. Now, I am picky and I don't rush but I still feel I moved at a pretty good pace. So, If you are looking for a quick put together this might not be your desk. There a ton of parts!

The good:
* When it's all done, this is a really nice desk to look at. It's a large L with nice wood grain, so really stands out in a room.
* Much sturdier than I expected with no central support under the L. I love having the deep room under the desk with no feet in the way. The top surface is composed of 1" particle board as opposed to more standard 3/4" so there is only marginal flexing when applying pressure to the corner join (or keyboard tray, which connects near the join).
* The keyboard drawer is very large and deep, so you can store a big keyboard and mouse, and other accessories that can be stored out of sight in the back.

After doing a bit of looking around to see what size desks were offered for the space I wanted to put it in, this one seemed to be a good choice. The reviews were kind of hit or miss as to the build quality of this item. I figured I would take the chance and see how it went.
My impressions: Yes, it is cheaply made. But for the price I wasn't expecting the Resolute Desk by any means. It's particle board covered with veneer; dowels and cam locks hold it together. It does the job though. Once assembled, it seems fairly sturdy and will suit my needs fine. I also purchased the matching hutch and will review it as well.
Overall, you get what you pay for. But if you don't expect more out of it than what it is, I think you'll be pleased.(145) -

Received the desk today. With Amazon Prime I was able to have it delivered in 2 business days for 3$. UPS had delivered it to the wrong house which was unfortunate because this box is really heavy. To heavy for an average sized person like me to lift by myself. Ended up dragging it across the grass and up the stairs. The box weighs over 75 pounds. It felt more like 90+ but being that the box was so big, i was unable to get a good grip to carry it. Assembly was easy and took less than an hour. For me the instructions were very self explanatory. I LOVE this desk. I just put it all together and it is perfect for what I needed. I love the size, not too big, not too small. It will make my work as a new Amazon book seller that much easier instead of using my kitchen table as my desk, I like the pull out for the keyboard and mouse. Better ergonomics and helps my back. The style is simple yet classic and fits in well. It will be a challenge to keep clean and not dusty with the glass tops but that is not that big of a deal. Thank you so much.
