I love this desk! It was easy to set up, it took about 45 minutes with 2 people. The only thing that bothers me is that the little rack thing (shown in the picture on the floor between the 2 long parts of the desk) is pretty useless. I ended up just putting it in a closet somewhere. But other than that the desk is sturdy and looks great!(293) -

I spent a lot of time searching for a corner desk that would fit my needs. Some were way too small to be functional, others were so big you could use them as door barricades during a zombie invasion. I came across this L-shape desk on Amazon and took the plunge. As a fan of the modern and simple look, I could not have asked for a better desk. It looks simple and clean and because it is a glass top desk, it makes my office seem larger than it is. Set up was simple for the most part, albeit the tightening of the screws. When setting this table up, it is very easy to over tighten the screws. If you go too far, you will hear a snapping or clicking sound and then you have to re-tighten again. The desk has clear assembly instructions and even comes with the screwing tool. I took my BF less than 2 hours to set it up, including 20 minutes to identify an error. I only helped cleaning up.
The L-shape desk, as we all know, is the piece to maximize corner spaces. I was happy to see a cleaner desk with large working space in the end.
I bought the brown color which feels more expensive than the natural one IMO. The desk looks very sturdy considering the price.(72) -

I needed a modern desk that was different from the usual ikea fare. I considered very expensive versions, and "craigslist specials". But none quite fit the bill.
I picked this one up from amazon and was pleasantly surprised.
Bads:
1. Its not wood or oak. It seems to be the same stuff ikea makes its desk from with plywood on top.
2. Its incredibly heavy.
3. Construction is almost definitely a 2 person job and took us about 5 hours.
4. The construction seems rather complicated (but the finished product was worth it.)
5. Easy enough to damage.

3. If you dont "attach" the 2 planks together you can create a hinged desk. Its not recommended, but I did it for myself and I seem happy enough with it. It may be dangerous to not attach them, so be warned.

Freaking awesome desk on a budget! The instructions were very hard to follow though because of poor descriptions and poor illustrations. Took me three hours to put it together since I had to reconstruct the desk three times. Looks and feels lovely once completed, fortunately!(49) -
