Lovey finishing touch for a little girls bed. We have it round a day bed. Plenty big enough for a double/King. can use the fixing on our ceiling, Little girl loves it, it's her princess bed.bee've hung it straight now, put a little knot in the top bit, so it would hang higher. I have purchased this for my daughter's bedroom and it looks lovely! It is pretty large but I did like that as she has proper size single bed and this would go over even larger bed. It is generous fabric which doesn't rip easily. I am very happy with this product.(28) -

I bought this for my 2yr. old (almost 2.5), for Christmas and she loves it! She already knows all of her uppercase letters and most of her lowercase letters so it's right up her alley. These letters are all lowercase so it is great for reinforcing what she already knows and continuing to learn those lowercase letters! She enjoys finding the letters and doing the word puzzle, but we have to be there with her to pull out an assortment of correct and incorrect letters otherwise all the letter choices can be a bit overwhelming.
As with all Melissa and Doug toys, this is a really well made product. I do wish there was some way to have another level where the child would have to figure out what letters are needed to spell the word rather than just focusing on finding each individual letter that is ... full review(1,054) -

Got this for a little indoor reading nook. It's a fun little addition to my son's room, and really great since it's hard being stuck indoors so much in the winter. Only issue so far, is that now my kids are fighting over using it. Neither of them cared for the inflatable cushion that it came with, so I threw in our own little round cushion. Both my kids are still under 50 pounds and I feel like this will work well for at least a couple years before they outgrow it. I'd say the actual size of it will be the issue long before weight is.(31) -

I've used this for several months now... I would say you need to wipe it down if water gets on it (not a big deal, but the metal will rust if you don't and not sure how the wood will handle the wet) and I tend to have to put a small towel down on the base to put my ipad on because it doesn't quite have the stability at the angle I want my ipad to be at. Otherwise this is great!!!(26) -

My almost-6 year old said "it's really fun! I like trying to find the strawberries on every page." When I asked her how it's different from the LeapReader that we already have, she said "it has more games and more things to do" (she means activities versus reading) and then added "it's like the "get ready for kindergarten" book for LeapReader more than the other LeapReader books" (which was good point). I'm a home schooling Mom. I really love this book. I only had to give directions to my son once, i.e. with the first page. After that, the directions are the same throughout the book. Just the contents change. So this is a book that I can assign to him and he knows what to do. Most of the words are easy for him to figure out. This is good because if they all posed a challenge, he would dread doing the exercises. On each page there are usually a couple of difficult words. Those I have to help him with; they serve as his his new vocabulary words. Sometimes I have him write sentences with these words and sometimes I have him look up words in the dictionary that he doesn't understand, whether they are from the clues given or from the word ladder itself.
