"Top notch - after setup" - by JSpore (Minneapolis MN/Jacksonville FL)
These are nice once you get them to work. Drivers for Windows 10 are a little tricky to get working, but once you do, they'll work. Mad Catz going out of business (the driver developer) will be an interesting development over the next few years. Make sure to get on Saitek website, Logitech has nothing to do with this product.

"Great product" - by Sal (in Lunar orbit)
Some have said this feels cheap, I will disagree. This product is exactly what I have been looking for. I have been using twist stick rudder of my x52 pro and have gotten quite good. (Mostly fly Elite Dangerous and some DCS) In ED this feels like it allows me greater control of yaw than the twist on the stick. Not sure if it was cross talk as some have posted on other sites, but this felt like my yaw was much more aggressive. I fly a Fer Dé Lance and it really moves. I still feel like I am learning to fly all over, but it makes the flying much more engaging.

The product also has tow breaks on separate axis's for each pedal which allows you to map it out as Gas and Break ie for your SRV. I use this with a thrust master wheel and driving ... full review

"I rather do all my practice and fine tune what I want to do on my computer ..." - by Tony C. Ho (New York City)
I had one that lasted over 10 years. It stopped working on day because the USB wire got busted so I replaced it with the same one.
I am a licensed pilot and during the time when I was getting my license, I used this to practice all my IFR approaches. It is not going to feel the same as what is on the plane, but look, I rather do all my practice and fine tune what I want to do on my computer before doing it on a plane. It makes the lessons more productive. The concept you just need to take with you is that the ground steering and coordinated turns are controlled by your foot.... Just don't expect this to feel exactly the same as on the plane because nothing in the market that I know of will...

"I'd say the overall setup is great, but the plastic on metal slide for the ..." - by Amazon Customer
I'd say the overall setup is great, but the plastic on metal slide for the throttle and pedals can build up a fair amount of 'stiction' with use. If it was metal on metal slides it would be far easier to counter it with lubricant but plastic on metal, graphite is the best lubricant I can find for it.

"Great product." - by royc10
I bought the pedals with the Saitek flight yoke after considering another competitor. They replaced my Logitech Extreme 3-D joystick so I could get away from the combat/Airbus approach to flying and tru some GA flying.

The package arrived in perfect condition and in Windows 7 Pro x64 I had no problem with installation. MS Flight Simulator X recognized it properly, even without using the installation CD. The pedals are of good quality and work well. However, the pedals themselves are not really aircraft-like, if you look at actual pictures of Cessna, Beechcraft, Boeing and other planes. In addition, the toe brake action range is a little long and the narrow hinge point really isn't realistic. The rudder control is great with the tension adjustment being helpful. One improvement that could be made is to make pedal pressure greater, allowing the pedals to return to ... full review

"None of the pedal options looked great. The CH's are close together and loud" - by Brandon G. Boyd
I wanted to post something brief for the people struggling with the same decision I just was: I bought a warthog for Elite Dangerous and I need to control the rudder somehow. None of the pedal options looked great. The CH's are close together and loud. Anything under $200 is plastic. The holygrail of the rudder peddle world (Crosswinds) are 350 euros and you have to send away to Germany for them. So I cheaped out. I bought the CH pedals and immediately hated them. The center detent is obnoxious, they are huge, and sound like a bolt action rifle being fired. Not a fan. And so, having already spent far more than I had really wanted to, I did the only logical thing. I spent more.

Enter these lovely little things. They are small, elegantly designed and pretty customizable. And they are SILENT. I swapped the cam around to lower ... full review

"As a retired naval aviator I can attest the look and "feel" of the Warthog are excellent. This is heavy metal and aircraft quali" - by Amazon Customer
As an avid flight sim fan I've gone through a variety of higher end controllers, various CH and Saitek models and eventually a Thrustmmaster HOTAS Cougar - which topped them all. Unfortunately the Cougar, which had been refurbished after years of use, proved to be incompatible with my WIN 7 64 operating system after one of those Tuesday night updates. I considered every practical alternative out there - the Warthog is not an inexpensive piece of equipment. Having acquired the Warthog I can say that I've found it to be worth every penny! The quality of construction and attention to detail are remarkable. As a retired naval aviator I can attest the look and "feel" of the Warthog are excellent. This is heavy metal and aircraft quality switches laid out in a realistic way, A-10 Warthog style. Everything is software configurable. I have a fairly sophisicated setup and had no ... full review

"The Best Rudder Pedals for Realistic Flight Simulation Experience" - by Osamah Alabdullah (Kuwait)
Having used many rudder pedals in the past, I must say that this is the very best I have used to date. High quality material and a very clean finish. Here is why I am confident to recommend this product:

1. Metal construction and high quality material used. No cheap parts here.
2. The unit is about 23 lbs and once you place it on the floor it will not move while being used.
3. No drivers necessary, just plug-in-play.
4. The unit comes with a quick calibration guide which takes about 20 seconds to complete. (Color guide with images - can't beat that)
5. It is compatible with X-Plane, Prepar3D and DCS. I did set it up on all three platforms and works like a chime. (Note: You need to inverse left toe for xplane and inverse both left and right toe for Prepar3D.

If you are serious about high fidelity flight simulation, then I ... full review

"Turning my head has seriously never excited me like this" - by Benjamin W. (Virginia)
There are no two ways about it: I could never fly the same again without headtracking. Elite: Dangerous, DCS World, Rise of Flight and Arma 3, the games I purchased this equipment for, all recognized it immediately with no input from me. And there is no lag whatsoever when I turn my head to check a cockpit warning light, or look down to see what my fuel pressure is at, or examine my cargo holdings... It took a few minutes to acclimate to a turn of 15 degrees of my head translating to a turn of 50 degrees on screen but it becomes quite easy to glance at exactly what you want with barely a few hours of practice.

And let's talk about being able to lean out over the side of the cockpit of a Sopwith Dolphin biplane roaring 20 meters over the ground to check that your two released ... full review

"Awesome for dual joystick and pedal setups" - by Dougiet27
Awesome for dual joystick and pedal setups! Just get some industrial velcro and BAM! If it's good for joysticks, it will also be great for HOTAS setups as well. Has preconfigured holes for multiple HOTAS sticks. Use it with my HTC Vive while playing Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen. Will never go back to playing on a desk. I just sit on a comfy sofa and play away! Btw.... easy to set up. Took about 15 minutes.

"Awesome gear!!!" - by Mikal E. Kissick (Pensacola, FL)
I am an avid flight sim builder...I have several sim "pits" some simple and some very high fidelity.
Probably one of the hardest things to integrate is the functionality of the Multi Function Display.
These were only available in Europe for a long time. The average price I paid from simw was about
$130.00 USD, you can get 2 sets and then some here now.
They come 2 MFD's per box/set, are heavy weighted, and have a good kinesthetic feel when actuating the buttons.
Plug and Play compatible with all modern operating systems. The brightness of the backlighting on the buttons and controls is user selectable based on how dark the room is/personal preference. CD drivers were included or you can download at parent site.
Sturdy construction and tons of configuration options for tyour desk or whatever angles your situation presents.
Well thought out design. Integrates flawlessly with Microsft FSX and X-Plane9.
Very Durable, I have 5 sets ... full review

"Amazing stick, but you'll probably need to build a cockpit for it" - by Aaron Gray
The good:
• Incredible array of buttons
• Excellent ergonomics
• Superior build quality
• Very nice stick tension

The bad:
• The base is extremely tall. Your hand sits 5 and a half inches off the ground. Combine this with the fact that this is a realistically stiff joystick, and you have a problem. This nasty combination destroys your body mechanics and forces bad posture in most of the "off the shelf" ways you would use a joystick. If you set the joystick on your desk, your hand must hover nearly 6 inches off the top of the desk. If you set the joystick on your lap, the top of your hand is going to be almost even with your chest. Just about the only way I could use the stick "off the shelf" was to put it between my legs. This felt very natural. But I also have a throttle I want to use. ... full review

"good product poor packaging and instructions." - by Dominick
Nice stand and a good product for the price. Sturdy, the rubber rings on the 2 horizontal feet work great on my hard wood floors. Little to no sliding. The unit came with the back horizontal leg on up-side-down so the Allen nuts scratched my floor. I gave this a 4 because no real effort was made on packaging and assembly instructions. They point you to a video where you watch a person assemble the unit with now sound. My issue was that the screws were not clearly identified. It took me to weeks to realize I had the throttle screws mounting my yoke, so I could not mount my throttle quadrant. The screws should have come in 3 different packages with a small label in each set. One for mounting the crossbars that hold the ruder, one for the bars that attach the cross bars onto the yoke stand, ... full review
