This book is absolutely great. But, you might think, yeah, I'm probably just another Dilbert nut so I'm clearly biased. And, you'd be wrong. I like Dilbert but I'm not a rabid Dilbert fan. I admit I read Scott's blog and sometimes write comments on it. Aha! Now you're saying, he's a Scott Adam's fan and therefore must be biased. Wrong again Kemosabe. Many times I disagree with Scott. However, when I do agree with him it's almost like we're the same person, or he has my house bugged and follows me around ala the Truman Show. I'm not sure. But one thing's for sure, reading this book expanded my own insights and put me in a very positive frame of mind. Thank you for that, Scott. I think any intelligent person possessing a healthy curiosity about the nature of success and its many iterations will thoroughly enjoy this book. ... full review(1,449) -

I bought this book as a teenager in 1998... I couldn't tell you what possessed me to do so but at the time I thought the book was hilarious in title, concept, and content.
Fast forward to 2002 when I started working in an office and reflecting on how I've moved from office culture with an actual office to the currently trending travesty of collaboration in a cubicle farm... this book was spookily prescient.
The book itself is well written and Scott Adams himself is quite an interesting character. I wouldn't mind reading more of his work as I find Scott's comic strips everywhere; most are mockingly accurate. :)(47) -

I would have liked to like this book more. The chapters are short, pithy and amusing, but there's no overarching plot or story so it feels like you're just reading someone's blog. And wait! You ARE just reading someone's blog, because this book is a collection of Scott Adams' blog postings you can read for free online. Damn, I wish I'd known that first.(41) -

So I bought this book because I was having one of "those" weeks at work and thought well what a pick-me-up. Low and behold, I started reading this and realized that Dogbert must have been using my work as his model! LOL. I finally understand why I can't get anywhere at work, I'm applying logic! Anyway, it's a great laugh and worth the price, as always if you like Dilbert, you'll love Dogbert. I also love the evil Catbert, but I'm afraid he'll steal my soul. Enjoy(45) -
