I've been giving the ColorMunki a workout for several weeks and find that it is easy to use and my print colors have never been more accurate. It replaces a first generation Pantone Colorvision Sypder I bought in 2002. My desktop is year old quad core PC from HP running Windows Vista Ultimate, an Acer Ferarri 20-inch LCD monitor and photo printer is an Epson Stylus Photo 2200 printer. I've seen a number of negative reviews here that leave me baffled, so I offer some advice.
1) Before you install ColorMunki software, be sure to un-install and/or disable other color management software, like Adobe Gamma. On Windows, I'd recommend using a good registry cleaner, like RegCure, to insure no color management applications are being loaded in the background.

I'm more of a serious hobbyist and I spent most of my budget on camera gear- lenses and camera bodies but come time to download and edit, not having a properly calibrated screen killed all the effort I put into a final picture. I finally purchased a decent DELL monitor and this wonderful unit.
It took a few times to get a hang of it, my whites looked brown after calibration, after setting temperature and not opting for the light adjustment, I finally nailed the neutrality I was looking for. Like a clean sheet a paper, I could make corrections and adjustments that are true.
This is the best investment I have made for my photography, you can have the best camera, lenses and gear but if you don't have a calibrated monitor to view your pictures, your adjustments will be inaccurate. Highly recommended.(496) -

I unboxed this bad boy and after i plugged it in, I started regretting my decision to get it. I had debated between this vs the U2715H -- the latter is not 4K but had a native resolution that is fully supported by most computers that aren't super-ancient. And it would probably look totally fine. However, there's this part of me that always wants the latest technology even if it's completely for illogical reasons. I guess there's a part of me thinking that I'll probably own the monitor for far longer than the laptop, so I might as well get the best display I can, knowing that my next computer would be able to fully utilize the 4K.

I worked on the technical side of television for 30 years. I'm used to color bars, waveform monitors and vectorscopes to get color and luminance right and needed a similar reference for photography. My buddy is the color expert at a printing company and suggested this.This is the least expensive thing that has improved my pictures the most. The price is right, it fits in a jeans pocket, it's really sturdy, it stands up on it's own and gives me a ton of choices for adjusting color. The software works within Lightroom and it's almost magic the way the picture just instantly looks so much more "right". Immediate results. I never take a picture without it.(5) -

I was so excited to find a battery for my Mac laptop that was purchased back in 2008. Easy to installed and so far everything is working just fine. Arrived at 34% charged. Currently operating at 100%. You can no longer buy a battery from Apple for their laptops that old. .(11) -

Wow. What a value! No one can believe that I pulled off my viewing experience for under 1k. Honestly I cant! Pull the trigger and you won't regret it.
Quick update- after now viewing 10 or so movies I find myself so satisfied. For someone that reads reviews almost too much I couldn't be happier in the decision. Use projectorcentral to get your measurements to help you undetstand the short throw. I provided the picture so that it helps understand the location to the couch. I can't hear anything from the projector when the movies on. I really didn't need to short throw but again the quality and price outweighed the location of the unit.(1,071) -

This is my first stylus so I can't really compare it to anything. That being said, I think Pencil is a very well build product, works flawlessly and allowed me to draw complex drawings with precision. I took off one star because I draw a lot so I can already see wear and tear on the drawing end of the stylus. Will have to replace it soon after having it for only 3 months. Great projector at the price. Exceed my expectation in both 2D and 3D picture quality. In terms of value, I think this one is even better than the higher tier brother. I did a side by side comparison between this one and its higher tier version and found it really difficult to tell these two apart.(285)
