    "3 Stars for the Paperback and 5 for the eBook" - By Gary A DePaul
    I purchased the paperback, and this is the first time to be disappointed not have the eBook instead of a paper copy! In the paper copy, Kawasaki underlines text that would be a hyperlink if I had the electronic version. While I appreciate that, I kept thinking, "Look at this link you can't click because you had to buy the paper version!"

    The content was great. Even with the paper version, I had enough ideas to improve my social media activities to justify buying the book. I probably can figure out the hyperlinks, and I have enough follow-up tasks to keep me busy.

    If you plan to buy this, choose the eBook for a better experiences (just my two cents).

    I have to disagree with the review that said this book was mainly for newbies. I've been working with blogs, websites and social media on a professional level for years and read any and every book on the subjects and still found this guide to be extremely helpful. I initially borrowed the book with my Prime membership to just take a skim through, but purchased it right after I finished reading it this week.

    I have been doing social media management for about three years and given the emergence of the field, I have learned most of my skills by trial and error and by studying what others do. As a marketing professional who deals with traditional advertising media, I have not been able to delve into the whole spectrum of social media platforms, limiting my focus to Facebook and Twitter. Thus I have been feeling a strong need for a good source of relevant information.

    Although this book could be used for media studies courses and even as an introductory IT course covering how data is / can be used (as well as advertising as it touches on that as well), I found it to be a well-written, informative and entertaining read simply for enjoyment. In other words, it is not dry or boring.

    I found this book to be very helpful. I've been blogging for 6 years and use social media a ton and thought I knew everything there was to know about it, but I ended up learning a lot more from this book. The book goes into great detail about each social media platform too and is very informative for the newbie as well.
