"I highly recommend this book for project management" - By Jesse
The simplicity of the Scrum Guide and its 3 Principles will insure the highest quality product. I can't wait to apply the Scrum guide written in this book that will greatly help me in delivering my projects on time. Even to the most complex projects that I have to a certain degree of high quality.
I highly recommend this book for project management.(6) -

Price: $133.28 "A great book for learning and practicing OOSE" - By Kuang-Nan Chang
This is the best OO software engineering book that I have read so far. I have been using Professor Kung's teaching materials to teach all my four software engineering courses for many years. Since they are easy to understand, my students have learned and followed many software engineering principles and methods covered in the materials to implement various projects in the courses. The courses have been evaluated four of the best courses in the department. I am so glad that, after many years, Dr. Kung has finally decided to publish this book along with the materials.
The book covers very practical and useful methods that are needed for software development. Different modeling methods are introduced in detail for developing different software systems (chapters 7 to 15). There are many great new features about the book. One of them is at the end ... full review(14) -

This is the book I've been wanted for years. Until this book, the Scrum development process was not very well known and was documented only piecemeal in a couple of papers and websites. Finally, there's a book a that covers everything you need to know to run your software project using Scrum.
Schwaber is the "Godfather of Scrum" and essentially invented the techniques; Beedle was one of the first converts to Scrum and together they definitely know their stuff.
The book covers everything from the theoretical basis for Scrum to how to organize your teams, conduct daily Scrum meetings to keep things moving along, to planning your Scrum project, to tracking the "backlog" of items that need to be completed to finish a project.
Scrum is not a rehash of another methodology. As the authors say, "Scrum is different." Some of the things you'll learn in this book will seem ... full review(79) -
"Great Box Set" - By Fred Fanning (Kansas)
This is a great two book set. Both books provide training courses. The book on release planning contains good information and a process to implement release planning. I liked the book and believe I can use the information. The second book on Agile Estimating and Planning for Sprint is filled with accurate and helpful information. I appreciated the lessons learned the author provides in both books.(1) -

Price: $15.00 "Super resource for teams of all skill levels" - By Lisa Crispin (Denver, CO United States)
I've worked on agile teams for more than ten years. I'm amazed at the quality and quantity of information in this concise little deck of cards. You really could learn how to implement agile principles and values from these cards. My current team has been doing Scrum, XP and Lean practices since 2003, so I thought there wouldn't be anything new for us in these cards, but I was wrong. There are nuggets of information to drive new discussion and improvement, such as the Toyota Production System Principles.
The first day we had the cards, one of our programmers refactored some code to reflect a change in business terminology and got rid of the old code. Lesser programmers might have just hacked in the terminology change, but he did it the right way - harder in the short term, but keeping our technical debt low for the long term. ... full review(11) -

I also have the audio version which I often play in the car on the way to work. I like the simplicity in the way that information is presented without the extra verbiage. The humour is a little cheesy at times, but that's OK it's meant to be. I would rate this as a great Quick Reference book.(76) -
"and as a result the articles were easy to write and done well before deadline" - By Jeremy M. (Washington)
I'm a freelance writer and got tasked to write some articles on Agile. In addition to web research, I read this book. I found it had all the information I needed, presented in a fast, straightforward way. I learned a lot about Agile and all the steps that go into an ideal project setup, and as a result the articles were easy to write and done well before deadline. The chapters on meetings and on documentation were each worth the small price of the book alone. If you want to know the overarching view of Agile development, you really can't go wrong with this one.(3) -
