"All in startup is a great book. I had to read this book for ..." - By Wendendate Bonkoungou
All in startup is a great book. I had to read this book for my entrepreneurship course and that was my recommendation at the University of Baltimore (#ENTR300). It is clear that the book focus in starting up a business venture. The book has exactly 300 pages that are divided in 25 chapters. Each chapter is well develop and is all about a specific problem or solution a person can face while starting a business. It is also stated in this book that it is difficult to combine a business and family. It is always easy to get trouble while running a business, and difficult to solve the problems. It is important for anyone that wants to start a venture to do a customers survey about the whole product or service to venture.
On the other hand, the book is all about two different personal that already run a business. ... full review

"Helpful read for everyone.....!" - By Darle
This book was an awesome presentation into everything about beginning a business. Subsequent to understanding it I have an inclination that I have a much clearer feeling of the managerial work expected to begin a business and how to handle things for the initial couple of years. It additionally gave me a concentration and a help in trust in my thoughts and made them appear to be not so much overpowering but rather more achievable.

Its simply a helpful read for everyone, who want to start business....!

"Must read for any non tech entrepreneurs" - By Brandon
I am a double major in entrepreneurship and marketing at my university and this book was SUPER valuable! The tech side of entrepreneurship always frightens me because I never know if I am going to be taken advantage of because of lack of knowledge about the industry. Thanks for helping me sleep at night!

"Awesome for procrastinators" - By Tom He
Really, really good book - I'm a white collar professional starting a business and it was really insightful to look at the author's journey to running his own business and the tons of wisdom and practical tips he writes here. I would highly recommend it to anyone who's prone to procrastinating on ideas or simply don't know where to start his/her business journey.

"Invaluable!!" - By Kindle Customer (VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, US)
Got home from work last night at 10pm to be welcomed by Stephens new book. Read until 3am and could not help but think while turning every page what a valuable work it was. I only wish Stephen had brought this book out sooner, it would have saved us from "learning the hard way" on many of the steps outlined in the book. The chapter covering Retail is extremely useful and has made me re-think our approach. Will be ordering further copies for my business partner, friends and family. Thanks Mr. Key :)

    "Highly recommended!" - By J.T
I find this book very detailed, that's kind of rare. And as a business woman I can really recommend it. I've started a total of 3 companies over the past years so I already know a thing or two, with that said I think that this book is great for someone who need a book that brings up all the steps and details you need to know. The book is great for the beginner, but also the one who might need to expand their knowledge in some business area. Very valuable book!

"I wish I would have read this book 10 years ago, it would have saved me over 50k!" - By Ray Brehm
I picked up this book, thinking that as an "idea man", this would help me convert ideas to reality. It does so much more than that!

As an entrepreneur, and owner of multiple businesses, I can tell you that this book touches on some of the most critical topics to starting your business (and protecting yourself). I know from experience, and not doing some of the suggestions in this book, that you can get burned by simply not knowing all the ins and outs (for instance insurance.....read the insurance section and always have Employment Practice Liability Policies).

I wish I would have read this book 10 years ago, it would have saved me over 50k (on the insurance piece alone)!

The concepts about determining if there is a market for your product, prior to creating it are priceless. If you are starting a business, get it right ... full review

"The truth about startups" - By rickeitt
I have worked with Luni on two of these startups and have to say, after reading his book it's pretty clear Luni not only knows how to create a startup, he also managed to document the process. He gives consideration to not only the process, but gives the reader some ideas to ponder with respect to the emotional side of starting a business. Having done a startup myself in the 1980's, I have to say it would have been nice to read a book like this before I ventured out on my own. Creating a business is not for the faint of heart - it takes passion, a vision rooted in reality, and a lot of common sense and the ability to listen to others. I know as an entrepreneur that it's hard to imagine being a mere mortal but it's true. You do have ... full review

"The ultimate resource for anyone planning to start a new business!" - By Jyotsna Ramachandran (Chennai)
I was looking for some home-based online business ideas, when I came across this book by Alex Genadinik. This book is like a mini-MBA program. It starts with with generating ideas for a new business, improvising on the idea, then moves to protecting intellectual property, planning the business model, revenue streams, financials etc, actually starting the business & finally talks about raising capital to grow the business. The book contains plenty of useful resources like business pitch template. top 10 business idea mistakes to avoid, business idea selection checklist, how to write an effective business plan, domain name selection checklist etc. I also learnt how the Freemium business model is the best model for online business. It involves offering something valuable for free and then converting the customers to paid products. The author not just talks about his experience, but also gives us useful inputs from other successful people like ... full review

"Must read for entrepreneurs and for those looking to work at startups" - By Sukriti Chadha
A lot of people take the liberty of calling themselves entrepreneurs but what a startup really needs to succeed is an entrepreneurial leader. This book describes how the entrepreneurial leader takes the company through the four stages till it becomes self sustaining. I love that this book focusses on personal growth of an entrepreneurial leader and not just how to motivate and manage the team. It is not one of those "feel good" books where you come out thinking you can start a business but nothing substantial that will help you do so. The lessons in this book come from experiences of some of the most accomplished entrepreneurial leaders. You actually learn concrete steps and strategies that stay with you after you finish reading.

It is a must read for entrepreneurs and for those looking to work at startups. This book will help you identify the kind of people ... full review

"Outstanding Resource" - By John Chancellor (Spring Hill, TN)
From Idea to Success is an outstanding resource and should be read by all entrepreneurs prior to embarking on their entrepreneurial journey.

The most impressive thing about this book is that it is a complete guide, taking the entrepreneur from the idea stage to the liquidity event. However the completeness of the book might be its biggest drawback. It covers everything an entrepreneur needs or should know as they build their company. Because it is so thorough, there are certainly some sections which might not apply to all start-up ventures. And some of the extremely valuable lessons may be only one or two sentences that could easily get lost in the volume of information.

This is one of the best books I have read dealing with the subject of going from start-up to the ultimate disposition of the company. There is a lot ... full review
