"High Quality Product at a Decent Price" - by Jesse Eikenberry
Let's break down the grading here by sections. FYI, I have had the bike for about 3 months and have logged 850 miles. I am roughly 5' 11" and have weighed between 250lbs and 228lbs in those three months.

1.) Assembly - 4.5/5
It took me (a non-handy desk worker with very little craftsman experience) roughly 25 minutes to put the bike together. A great deal of the assembly is done before you take it out of the box (the frame and handlebars are individually assembled). The one knock here is that the instructions could definitely be easier to follow, but it was still easier than following the instructions that come with a typical DIY desk or bookcase.

2.) Operation - 4.75/5
For the price, of course. I have had the bike for roughly 3 months and have logged roughly 850 miles. I can't speak on it's longevity ... full review

"High Praise from a Former Spin Class Addict" - by inkpenzen
After comparing reviews and prices on a number of home fitness bikes, I narrowed my choice down to the Sunny Health & Fitness Pro Indoor Cycling Bike. Before I purchase an item on Amazon, I tend to read the 5 star reviews and then begin at the bottom with the 1 star reviews and work my way back up. This approach tends to give me a view of what people liked about the bike and, starting with the least satisfied customers, allows me to get a feel for the complaints and compare them to a variety of reviews.

First, be warned. The box is heavy. I mean, really heavy. The shipping weight is listed at 112 pounds and the box is large. Believe it or not, this is a very good thing. The bike is solid, mostly metal with an absolute minimum ... full review

"Good basic cardiovascular (and leg) workout; but hard to adjust for different heights; alert manual says 300 lbs not 325" - by austin_Larry (Austin, TX USA)
I was in the market for a piece of exercise equipment that would provide my wife and I with a good cardiovascular workout. Any additional benefit such as lower body, upper body, core was secondary to that. Also my wife is still recovering from leg injuries and she never really used an elliptical we bought before all that much. The elliptical was well over twice the price of the 900 XL and it broke just after a year. So I wanted a recumbent bike that was good but I did not want to pay for a mid or even premium priced one. I am also around 260 lbs. For all those reasons I decide to go with the 900 XL.
Set-up: We were actually very impressed by how the bike is shipped to you. If you open the instruction booklet you are likely to freak out by all the parts ... full review

"Marcy recumbent mag cycl" - by Vicki (Idaho)
My husband and I were looking for a style of exercise bike that was easy on the posterior and on the wallet. The Marcy recumbent Mag cycle is both! My husband and my teenaged son were able to put it together in less than an hour (if you don't count the time in laying out the parts and reading through the instructions first). There were 2 washers left over, so I am assuming that the manufacturer included extras.

The monitor keeps track of the time that you spend exercising in each session, speed, distance traveled, calories burned, and it has an odometer. I was surprised about how quiet it is, as our previous upright exercise bike was quite noisy. The bike also has a dial to set the tension level (there are 8 levels).

I was able to buy the Marcy bike on ... full review

"Schwinn Cruiser Gel Seat Cover Fits!" - by Justin Somerville
For anyone who wondered the same thing I did prior to purchase, yes the Schwinn Cruiser Gel Seat Cover does fit this bike. I found mixed answers amongst other reviews and was a bit hesitant, but I went for it anyway. The seat it comes with is a very stiff, though slightly malleable, plastic seat which certainly would not be comfortable for extended use. The seat cover is not MADE FOR this seat, so it is not a perfect fit, but it will securely cover the seat. We have used the bike for up to an hour straight with minimal discomfort.

Regarding the bike itself...we didn't need anything complex or high-tech so this fit the bill. It shipped quickly and was easy to assemble. I did end up using a washer at the base of the arms to fill a gap that was ... full review

"Excellent Item for price." - by Mr. Wright
This was purchased for myself and my wife to use a few days a week each to improve our cardio workouts and I must say Im impressed for the price. The item was super simple to put together and very sturdy. There have been complaints on the reviews about the instructions, although I agree they could have been written much better, the bike was very easy to put together...you basically could look at the picture of the bike and the parts and put it together in 30 minutes. The only complaint that I see that I agree with is the seat is not super comfortable, but to me for the price that is no biggie as I can go to a local bike shop and get a cover cushion for it, or just place a towel over the seat if needed.....but for casual use (1hr workouts a few times a ... full review

"Pleased with my Schwinn 170 Upright Bike" - by Ava F. Quast
I was not comfortable in ordering an exercise bike online, so I researched all of the bikes available. I ending up choosing the Schwinn 170 for several reasons. I wanted a bike that would let me start out with a manual program and work my way up to more intense programs as I progressed. This bike has that ability and has more than enough programmed rides to allow me to work out at an intense pace or a slower pace if I choose to do so. I wanted a bike that was super quiet and the Schwinn 170 is that. It makes no annoying noise regardless of what speed I ride. I wanted a bike that would be sturdy and not feel cheaply made and this bike meets that criteria well. There are some plastic parts, but what doesn't have a few plastic parts these ... full review

"Good for the money" - by Amazon Customer
I just got this bike today. I bought it so that I could get back into working out. It took about 45 minutes to assemble. The instructions were all very clear and it came with the tools that were needed.
The seat is okay on its own, but I ordered the imitation sheepskin and it makes a huge difference. The seat is very comfortable.
I am 254 pounds and 5'11" and this bike works well for me.
It is very light and easy to move. It's also fairly small and doesn't take up too much space.
It is quite loud but not unbearable.

"but it's a great bike. Broke my knee joint and tore my ..." - by s. z
Was concerned to purchase because of the lack of reviews, but it's a great bike. Broke my knee joint and tore my MPFL, and had reconstructive surgery...this bike has been awesome. Already noticing a difference in the strength of leg. Great buy.

"No frills, works great" - by Tats76 (Washington)
I have gone over 4500 miles on this bike and I love it.

I needed something simple and quiet. I have 2 kids, so I get my first ride in very early in the morning, before they wake up. It hardly makes any noise, so it's perfect.

I didn't want a lot of frills and whistles, just a compact bike that I could use to lose weight and work on my endurance and this delivers.

The display either cycles through, showing speed, distance, etc, or you can keep it static on one stat. The calories burned isn't too accurate, but it gives a general idea, and since I have a fitbit, I am not concerned with it.

I have had this bike since the end of 2015, and it has really helped me out. If you want a basic bike that isn't spendy and is good ... full review

"Good bike with desk, but still need to lean forward to reach desk to work and my back does not reach the backrest." - by Joci
We were disappointed because we love to exercise and was hoping this would complement our working concurrently.

We bought the FItdesk a few weeks ago. Definitely not for people under 5'5". I can barely sit on FRONT EDGE of seat and I wear high heels to compensate for lack of leg length to reach pedals. The back rest is about a foot away from my back so I add a lumbar support just to get a bit more comfortable.

It looks sturdy and is relatively quiet when pedaling. But honestly this is made for people of 5"5" or taller. We're going to either see if a gel cushioned seat would help as there are no more adjustments to lower the height or narrow the space between the backrest and the back. Otherwise, we'll be returning it soon.
