"Worked great for me! Saved a TON of caishe!!!" - by Mike
Worked great, programmed perfectly in my 2006 HHR. If you call around and ask any store if they will cut these keys, they will all say no. So I went to Lowes and the guy cut them for free since they have no SKU to cut a key without selling one (and he probably didn't want a paper trail showing that he did it for me, LOL). So, pretty much any place CAN cut them for you - its just if they WILL. For the amount of money I saved on two keys, it was worth the possible hassle. Thanks to Lowes, it worked out great for me! I love shopping at Lowes (even before they cut the keys for me)!

Dealer charged to cut each key and they work great. However they could not program the remotes and told me they were the wrong ones, so I printed the on-line instructions, went out to the car, and 'bingo'!! Had them programmed in two minutes. The moral of the story is just do it yourself!

"Great deal" - by R. Brownell (CA)
Worked fine in my ‘11 Sierra, went to the hardware store where they cut the key, mentioned it’s be close to $70 if I had purchased from them. So for about $10 I’d say it’s a great deal.

Dealer wanted $80 per programmed transponder key. You MUST already have 2 programmed keys for the vehicle to use the DIY programming of these keys. Easy instructions and a great savings.

"Worked like a dream!" - by J. Watson (morristown, tn)
Much cheaper than letting the scam artist dealerships cut and program a key. I had my local hardware store cut the key for 50 cents and followed some instructions for programming I found on youtube. Viola! I was surprised that it seems like an OEM part despite the inexpensive cost.

Worked like a charm for 2008 Explorer. As long as you have 2 original keys and a hardware store that will cut these keys, programming is a piece of cake.
