Urban Myth is something like Trivial Pursuit, where the trivia falls into six different categories and you must be on the correct category to win something after answering the question. However, instead of open-ended questions, these are true or false trivia questions.
Sounds simple, you say? Think again! Some of these are really very tricky, and they're written in such a manner that it's nearly impossible to guess if something REALLY happened or if it didn't.
The object of the game is actually to collect the question cards themselves, which have letters on the back. Be the first one to spell out "TRUE" or "MYTH" with your cards, and you win.
I liked this game, I think it's a really fun twist on trivia games. The true-false aspect does level out the playing field a little bit (everyone's got a 50/50 shot at each answer). We found ... full review(15) -

Everyone can join in excavating a mine for gold. You build the mine as you go and collect gold along the way. And who doesn't like to collect gold?
One of the reasons why we like Gold Mine as a family board game is that it allows up to 6 players to play at a time. It's also great for families because it's simple to learn and play. So even the young kids in the family can join in the fun. But just because it's easy for younger kids to play doesn't mean the older kids and adults won't like it too.

the money maze gave us a fun novelty value. We had fun watching my Daughter tried to solve the box. it only took me about 10 to 16 minutes to figure it out. this is very sturdy, this is also prefect for Christmas stockings or birthday present love it. this is also money bank and It provides hours of fun loves that! just prefect one's you put your money in the only way to get it out is to solve the Maze!

This game is a lot of fun. It has a good variety of games in it that makes every time feel unique and fresh. I am a school teacher and use many of these games with my classes now. They love them! It's a great way to use all the scrap paper in the recycling bin and really get their brains and their bodies working. It's a nice break from the normal school day routine. I know this isn't it's intended purpose, but I do love using these games in a classroom setting. Most of them only need minor adjustments to work for a class.(126) -

Great coffee table item for conversation starters, awesome for kids and adults, and helpful to writers AND improv comedy folks alike.
This has SOOOO many ideas that it helps me to write, practice, and of course to come up with random suggestions when we get together to practice for our IMPROV COMEDY group. I like that the author has various ways for you to use the deck included in the booklet inside the box, and find that this added fun to the set. It does just what it says, giving you ideas to spawn new ones. If you want to step it up a notch, use it at bedtime with the kiddies to tell each other a story that you make up on the spot. Such fun!

This is an extremely easy game to play. And although it is fun, it does not have as much depth as other games I've played in large crowd settings. It is just like it sounds. You only have 5 seconds to think of 3 items in a specific category. For example, the card might say "Name something that happens to you in the Doctor's Office"
I personally don't think 5 seconds is enough for a lot of the categories found on the cards. And the majority of the crowd thought so too. In fact, it was challenging to get everyone involved. So although I "like" the game, there are many more I prefer over it.(1,458)
