"Highly recommended for both UX newbies and veterans" - By Z. Li (los angeles, usa)
This UX Strategy book stands out in the UX field as a much-needed and very practically-minded bridging of business strategy and UX design. You’ll get a lot of value out of it whether you’re a UX newbie building your first startup or you’re a seasoned designer or executive at a Fortune 500. The book is also written in a fun and encouraging way - Jaime Levy’s down-to-earth passion for her innovations and teaching is motivating and infectious. This book has clearly been a labour of love for her.

"Really nice reference and covers the gamut in nice little chunks." - By atmj (Rochester, NY USA)
Having been a UX professional for about 20 years and having read loads of books on the subject, I was prepared for some rote suggestions and some same old same old approaches to UX…. Definitely not so.

The book is fresh and sassy at times, using all the appropriate vernacular and has some pretty level headed and well spelled out basics. Wonderfully even with the playful tone, it’s terse and useful. The only fault I could find was while the book is slated to be a book for developers, UI and graphics designers as well as other types of people on the periphery of UI/UX, sometimes he is addressing the UX professional in a familiar context as if the ropes have been learned. But, that is my only complaint.

I’ve enjoyed this book and I’m sure will reread it. He has a way of ... full review

"The book is good but would benefit from more case studies." - By Joyce E. Johnson
For those not familiar with the title this book is a product development strategy for user interfaces. It addresses UX designers directly but should be read by all individuals in a company as the process outlined involves everyone from the manager down to customer support. The development team could either be a small business or a smaller group within a large organization.
Lean UX assumes the company can test its software with end users every one or two weeks and that it's realistic for your company to split UX development between fully functional groups of about 10 people. Lean UX will not work for your company if the team is too large or software cannot be tested and altered frequently, such as with embedded software or software that requires a long development cycle.
For the most part the book explains all terms and concepts adequately but readers familiar with Lean ... full review

"Must read for early stage startups" - By S. Paplikar (Edison, NJ)
This book is an absolute must read for early stage startups if they are into product development. Although, I have done product development before, I used to work for bigger companies and I hadn't really understood the best way to go about product development is a resource challenged early stage startup. It turned out to be a bible for me!
