Bought it to test my Chinese made NES, SNES and Genesis Everdrive carts. It worked perfectly, except the save state function didn't work for the NES. I did not test the wireless controllers, but the original console controllers worked great.(71) -

My 11 year old son got this as a gift after asking for it for years. This is his review, as dictated to me:
"I love it. The best experience in gaming that I've ever had. And trust me, I've gamed for a while. The Xbox 360 is an elite gaming platform, better than the PS3 by far. My reasoning is: The controller is very durable and I have dropped it about ten times and it hasn't even scratched up. 4 gb is enough if you're saving 4 tournaments in sports games. My dad bought the 16gb usb flash drive, which adds plenty of space and is probably all you need if you're not constantly saving games or going on Xbox live. Peggle is a fun adventure game, but does not appeal much to kids my age who like sports games more.

Great Console. Use it to play NES, SNES and Gameboy(via my Super Gameboy which works perfectly). All my games work, and the sound and video are, as far as I can tell, very close to the original. I really like the 2 controllers included, and the simple game switcher. This means you can plug in two games, and switch between them without even turning off the console.
My only gripe with this would be that when I first got it, the first ten or so times put in NES carts, it was very tight, but after use, mine has lighten up and I am not afraid of it harming the game.
I remember I got it for sale for 40, but even 50 or so isn't too bad. Great console to start a retro collection, just toss a Super Gameboy in.

It works really good. I did notice some Genesis games wont play because of licensing, it says it can only be played on Genesis gaming systems, but it only happened with a couple of games. The regular Nintendo games are kind of hard to take out, hope this does not damage it in the long run. It comes with 2 controllers, with 1 of them the right cursor button does not work. But if you happen to have any original controllers around, which I do, they can be used instead. Its a lot better than trying to find original game systems that are old and may or may not work, and some people charge just as much for just one of the older systems.(62) -

this is a great console for a great value. I bought the NES 150 games in 1 cartridge, and this console plays every game perfectly on my LED tv. No problems. No complaints. The cartridges are easy to pull out, so I don't know what people on here are talking about, maybe if they have the strength and incapabilities of a 1yr old they wouldn't be able to pull out the cartridge. my copy of mike tysons punchout plays perfect on this, and easy to insert/remove the cartridge. This console blows the NES classic out of the water with only 30 games and 1 controller. If you have any hesitation on getting this with the 150 in 1 over the limited NES classic, don't. OK so first off, I should say that I recently purchased a Hyperkin Retron 5 which was unfortunately broken upon arrival, and also has - for me - some serious downsides to its functionality. Since that arrived broken, I sent that back for a refund.
A week or so later I noticed the Retro Bit Super TRIO was also available and thought I'd give that a try instead - and I have to say, I'm much happier with this system for several important reasons.
The good stuff:
First and foremost, the Retro TRIO is a hardware based clone system so there is no discernable input lag when playing these games, whereas the Retron 5 uses an emulator running on an Android OS that did have noticeable input lag to me when I tried it.
