My toddler LOVED this bike. But yesterday he lifted the front of the bike up (pretend ramping but on flat surface) and dropped the bike 4-5 inches from the ground and the front snapped in half. This was his most beloved toy. At only 8 months old and primarily kept inside, I am very disappointed.

I have 3 boys, different ages and those toddler balance bike are a great fit for all of them!
It can be easily fold to store in my apartment/car and even under my stroller so i can comfortably take it with me everywhere!
Thanks to the balance bike my son was able to transition to regular two-wheel bike without using training wheels. This is the best way to practice coordination and balance, this is a great product.

Folding Toddler Balance bike

We have a very limited amount of storage space in the house so were happy to find a folding version for the usual kids' balance bike. Our LO is now almost 2.5 years old and loved the idea of a bike. I must say it takes a bit of time to get them to do it. She is still mainly doing it around the house and then a little outside. Hopefully it will get smoother with time. The bike came with 3 x 2 sets of wrist, elbow and knee protectors, which are wonderful for later, at first I put everything on her plus the helmet and it was TOO MUCH! But once she gets some speed with the bike I will make sure to pop them all bck on for maximum protection and I'm thrilled they were included with the bike! The bike DOES fold and easy to fold and then unfold. My only slight issue with the folding is that it doesn't lock in the fold position, so if you're carrying around it would swing open. For storage it's perfect! WE like the design and colour and looking forward to having a great time with it.

This is our second balance bike – the first being a Chicco at half the price and I can definitely tell the difference in quality. We already have a SmarTrike which my son loves and this is a good way to progress to a pedal bike in the future. While it states in the description “No tools assembly– ride it straight out-of-the-box and waste no time on complicated assembly instructions”, it sure came in a lot of separate pieces! Tool assembly IS required. It comes with Allen keys and spanner and instruction manual with images to show how it goes together. It wasn’t too difficult to assemble – I did put one wheel on the wrong way round (they have paw prints) but that didn’t really matter. Once built I did find it to be lower to the ground to the Chicco so this one would have been more suitable for my son at age 2 where he was on his tiptoes with the Chicco. This has a folding feature where the back wheel will come forward to meet the front wheel but personally I don’t find it makes much of a difference as you’re not saving much space and the wheel doesn’t lock into place so will swing about. It doesn’t really sit very stably like that. Now at first my son refused to sit on this bike. I think the handle bars were the biggest issue because at their lowest he wasn’t sitting as upright as he would on the Chicco but raising them made a huge difference so he is far more likely to choose this one to ride. He loves the paw prints on the wheels but constantly wants to check if he can see prints in the ground. I love the fact this bike also came with knee, elbow and wrist pads (we don’t tend to use these) which of course can be used with any other toy. We are still at the early stage of using a balance bike so he hasn’t quite got the confidence to build up speed and lift his feet but I do notice a big difference in his balance as he’s walking it round the garden and going down small slopes. I expect he’ll get a lot of use out of this with him only being 2 and it going up to 5 years as it can grow with him. Just remember to keep the Allen keys handy because different ones are needed for raising the seat and the handlebars but it’s easy to do.
