To add to Michael 's comment, Blue Iris is for Windows. The Mac equivalent is Evocam. Both are very good. If you are in the Mac world, another very good program with fewer bells and whistles is uFoscam. It can control up to nine cameras. Setup is a breeze. It's is a simple way for Mac users to get 2-way audio. However, it's motion detection and recording options aren't as robust as Evocam. I have both. They work well.
