This was very pretty paper. I used it to paper the back of a bookshelf. The sheets are folded so they do have crease lines.

I bought three different gift wraps and they were exactly what I wanted. VERY cute and I will definitely purchase again next year!

A: Because it does the trick of beautifully wrapping a gift without a huge price to the environment. As far as papers go, newsprint is probably the most environmentally friendly one there is. It can be produced from a wide range of wood pulp and saw dust, and uses the least amount of chemical agents to change the consistency or quality. In the US over 90% of newsprint is created from recycled paper.
Q: Will the ink smudge on my fingers?
A: Not as much as you may think, but yes, a little. Our printing process conserves energy by not heat sealing the ink on the paper, and does not use any additional chemically-based sealers or laminates—choices we made to keep the product as green as possible. Our paper’s soy-based inks absorb more thoroughly than petroleum-based inks which originally gained the reputation of rubbing off of people’s fingers.
Q: What kind of print quality can I expect?
A: We use newspaper presses to make wrapping paper. Crazy, we know. Pushing the envelope on what these old web presses were made to do is part of the fun—and the result is distinctly different. Our papers retain those signature sawtooth edges iconic to newspapers everywhere, and in some cases evidence of the four-color registration leaves hints of itself. With Wrappily the process is part of the product, and the beauty is in the imperfect, crafted-looking result.
Q: What is the best way to store my extra paper?
A: The best way to store your Wrappily is in a folder or a box out of direct sunlight. Because newsprint is not acid-free it will yellow with age if left in the sun for an extended period.
Q: Can I recycle my used Wrappily with my newspapers?
A: Absolutely, it’s so easy! Over 72% of all newspaper in the U.S. is recycled, dramatically helping to reduce the impact on forests, dependency on imported oil and the need for more landfills. In fact, newsprint is made of up to 30% recycled-fiber content, and can be recycled up to seven times.
Q: What happens to my Wrappily if I don't recycle it?
A: Under the right conditions, newsprint will completely decompose in approximately six weeks.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: It’s just not happily ever after if you are disappointed in our product. We aim for 100% customer satisfaction, so if you are dissatisfied contact us right away. Together we’ll work out a happy ending.
