Unless noted otherwise in the ordering pipeline, ECOMax ships all items within two days of receiving an order. You will receive notification of any delay or cancellation of your order.

Tax Information

Sales tax is not separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from ECOMax through the Site unless explicitly indicated as such in the ordering process. Items ordered from ECOMax may be subject to tax in certain states, based on the state to which the order is shipped. If an item is subject to sales tax, in accordance with state tax laws, the tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item, including shipping and handling charges, gift-wrap charges and other service charges, less any applicable discounts. If tax is separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from ECOMax through the Site, the tax amounts that appear during the ordering process are estimated - the actual taxes that will be charged to your credit card will be calculated at the time your order is processed and will appear in your order confirmation notification.

How do I return my Order?

Is the item you received not what you expected?  Did it not work?  Whatever the reason, we want to work with you in ensuring you are happy with your purchase.  We will accept return requests for unopened and unused merchandise in its original packaging within 30 days from the date of purchase.  If the item is received damaged or is defective and in warranty please follow the instructions in our STANDARD RETURN POLICY. 

Note: We will only issue a Pre-Paid  label if we have confirmed there is a problem with the order.

Please keep in mind that once your order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled.  If your order is refuse and returned back to us, it will then fall under our STANDARD RETURN POLICY guidelines.

Using our Standard Return Policy

Customers are welcome to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) by contacting us via Amazon with a request for return:

  • Your order will be approved once verification of warranty has been done.

You must have a RMA # prior to returning goods, to our location or it will be refused.  The RMA # will be issued by either AMAZON or our Customer Service Team.  Shipping charges for the return of merchandise will be the responsibility of the customer, with the exception of damaged/defective merchandise, or incorrect shipments, upon verification.

Occasionally, shipping errors occur and products can arrive damaged or are mis-shipped.  If you have received a damaged item, or an incorrect item, please notify our Customer Service Team within two business days.  Or should you have problems upon installation of your item within 30 days of purchase please contact our Customer Service Team.  Include your name, original order number and product information for the item you received.  Without this information your return approval will be delayed.  Once information is reviewed and approved, you will receive instructions on returning your item.  ECOMax will waive the restocking fee for order processing mistakes.  Once the RMA is received at our location, one of two things will happen:

  1. You will receive a refund that will include the cost of the item and the original shipping costs (if applicable). 
  2. Your replacement item will be shipped out, and a tracking number will be provided to you

Orders that are returned to ECOMax unwanted, refused, unclaimed or undeliverable will be subjected to restocking (20% minimum), shipping and return shipping fees.  Orders that qualify for free shipping but are returned as unwanted, undelivered or unclaimed packages will be subjected to restocking (20% minimum), shipping (initial shipment and return shipment) and reshipping fees (if applicable).

We are not responsible for items that do not arrive at our warehouse. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you ship your package in a way that allows you to track the shipment and receive proof of delivery.

What if My Order Arrives and I am Shorted an Item?

Please notify us within 2 business days from the carrier's proof-of-delivery date for the item shorted.  If notified within 2 business days we will send out the shorted item at no charge.
