Better Choice Online Shipping Rates

Shipping Policies

We ship using UPS and the U.S. Postal Service.  Please let us know if one of those carriers cannot deliver to your address (e.g. you are in a rural area and packages are delivered to a P.O. Box).  Shipping usually takes three business days (excluding weekends) in transit to the Midwest and east coast, four to five days for the rest of the country.

Sales tax is not separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from Better Choice Online through the Site unless explicitly indicated as such in the ordering process. Items ordered from Better Choice Online may be subject to tax in certain states, based on the state to which the order is shipped. If an item is subject to sales tax, in accordance with state tax laws, the tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item, including shipping and handling charges, gift-wrap charges and other service charges, less any applicable discounts. If tax is separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from Better Choice Online through the Site, the tax amounts that appear during the ordering process are estimated - the actual taxes that will be charged to your credit card will be calculated at the time your order is processed and will appear in your order confirmation notification.

Here at Better Choice Online, we try to make things as hassle-free as possible.  In general, you may return any item, excluding software, within 30 days of purchase.

If an item is defective, you may return it to us for a refund.  Typically customers pay the return shipping, but we may make exceptions depending on the situation.  If we prepay for your return shipping but find that the item is not defective, you may be charged a restocking fee.  Please be as specific as possible when requesting your return to avoid any misunderstandings.

If you find that the product does not meet your needs, you may return it within 30 days for a refund.  You will need to pay the return shipping costs, and there will also be a restocking fee up to 20% of the purchase price (minimum $5.95).  We minimize or waive the restocking fee if the item is returned in mint condition with all parts/accessories and the original box/packaging is in good condition.

Printers with opened or missing ink / toner will be charged a restocking fee equal to the retail price of the replacement cartridge(s), in addition to the standard restocking and shipping fees. 

Software products are not eligible for refund or exchange.  I am sorry but our contracts with Microsoft, Apple, etc. do not let us take back software licenses.  You will need to contact them if you are having problems with product activation.

Food and beverages are not returnable.  Sorry :-(

Items that are damaged due to improper installation (such as bent CPU pins or LGA motherboard sockets) are not eligible for warranty replacement or refunds.  Please contact the manufacturer for repair options.
