Tax Information

The Tax man says we have to collect Sales Tax for the state of California.  All other states are exempt.


There's a problem with my order, what do I do?


 We have shipped over 49400 packages worldwide. 


**Only NINE have never arrived.

**Only FOUR took much longer than normal (months instead of days or weeks).

**Only FIVE were returned because the buyer supplied an incorrect/insufficient address.

First of all, We're sorry.  It was certainly not intentional.

Contact us as soon as you can and explain the problem.

Below is the list of potential problems and our policies.

  • The package never arrived
  •  First of all, how long has it been? The postal systems aren't known for their speed and packages can sometimes take weeks to travel distances that should only take days.  Also please consider your location and if weather may be a factor.
  •  International orders are infamous for delays. It may bee sitting at your local post office waiting for you to pick it up or pay duties for it. If it seems like it's taking a while, let us know; but we'll probably suggest you wait a while longer (if it's still within reason).
  •  For the safety of our customers and ourselves often we will in addition to adding tracking to packages, insure them as well.  If we opted to insure your package we will do our very best to assist in processing an insurance claim for you.  We can not guarantee the outcome of an insurance claim by USPS or Fedex and to date we have never had to process a claim.  Please keep in mind that we offer this service as a courtesy free of costs.
  • Something was missing from the order
    If the quantity was incorrect or something was missing (not resulting from damage to the packaging due to the postal systems or courier) We will either refund the value of the missing items and the whole materials fee or send you the missing parts free of charge.
    If the USPS or courier damaged the package, causing contents to be lost then it is considered the same as if it never arrived; see above.
  • The condition was not the same as described
    In over eight years we have never been accused of this. We make sure we describe the condition as specific as we can such as when an item is listed as "Used".  All "New" parts, minifigs, and sets came straight from a Lego source. If a minifig was listed as "UN-assembled" that means it went straight from a factory-sealed box to a zip bag. If it as "New" and "assembled" then it was assembled for the purpose of photographing for the our Catalog and then put into a bag. New means never played with. For all non-minifig parts, "New" means never assembled at all.
    If you receive an item in condition other than what was described we will handle those on a case-by-case basis.  All of our manuals and stickers have been inspected prior to listing.  We are very careful to list any damages at that time.
  • I want to return my order.
  •  We accept returns for up to 30 days after the product has been received by you.  The following procedures need to be followed to process a return, you will need to return the order to us within 30 days of having received it, you will also be responsible for the shipping costs to return the product and will need to provide insurance to protect yourself from loss or damage.  Once the item is returned to us a refund will be processed within 72 hours, refunds will not include original shipping fees paid or transaction fees paid by us.  Normally fees charged to us run about 20% of the total order.  PLEASE understand that a refund will not be issued if the product being returned is damaged or lost during shipping, this is a matter for USPS or your carrier not us.  All returns past the 30 days return period will be subject to a 50% restocking fee. We do not accept returns of Opened Manuals or Sticker Sheets due to the high volume of customers purchasing them, copying them and then wanting to return them, in the event that a situation arises in which we do accept a returned product which has been used or unsealed a 50% restocking fee will apply.
  • Restocking Fees Applies as Follows:  

  • (Refused Packages) within the 30 Day time frame = 20% 
  • (Wrong Delivery Address) and returned to us as undeliverable = 20%
  • (Changed mind or No Longer Needed) and returned within the 30 Day time frame = 20% 
  • (Damaged Packages) handled on a case by case basis or through insurance.

    Items missing from Orders

    Our stock is now the most accurate it can be... But, we're human, so there can be the occasional mistake: sometimes we relied on incorrect inventories, sometimes we forget to remove a piece we decided to keep for ourselves or put it in the wrong place, sometimes gremlins in the computers change our inventory without our knowledge.
    It's rare but it can happen
    If you order an item and we don't have it, you will always be allowed to cancel the entire order without penalty. After all, it was our duty to make sure things are right. Otherwise, we will remove the missing/wrong parts from your order. 

     
    Do You Ship Internationally??

    We are proud to announce that we have shipped to over 54 countries and each and every state in the United States.
    Please keep in mind that using a drop shipper in the United States to ship your item internationally will more than likely cost you more money than if you simply checked out and allowed us to ship the item to you.
    We have had numerous international customers pay upwards of $25.00-$30.00 to have items processed for them by a drop shipper in the US.  By the time you pay the domestic shipping charges and the third party charges you will find that you have overpaid for shipping.
    Our international shipping charges are based on the rates provided by the USPS.  This is the only carrier we use with regard to international shipments.  The shipments are tracked and often insured.
