Return Policy

We are happy to accept new, unopened, and original-condition item for return. We have a few basic policies we ask that you observe. We are unable to accept responsibility for any failure to comply with the parameters set forth within this documentation.

30-day Return Period
Unique Photo, Inc accepts returns or exchanges up to 30 days from the original purchase only with a valid Return Authorization number generated from our company. This number MUST appear on the outside of the shipping carton. Returns sent without the originally issued RMA number on the outside of the shipping carton will not be honored as such. The shipping label generated within the Amazon system will automatically have this number, and we highly recommend using this label to avoid potential issues.

Shortages and Damages

If an item is damaged or missing parts, a claim must be made within 2 days of receipt of your order. We cannot honor claims of damage or shortage outside of this period.

Original Materials Required

All returns and exchanges must be in original, unopened, and new condition and include all accessories, manuals, packaging, blank warranty cards, cables, power supplies, etc.

Refund of Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are not refundable.
Returns on orders where free shipping had been offered or instances where a prepaid shipping label is provided for return, applicable shipping charges will be deducted from any refund. You may expect these charges to be $5.16 per shipment,  plus $0.92 for each additional rounded-up lb. for standard delivery.  The only exception to this practice would be if the return was due to damage, defect, or an error on the part of Unique Photo, Inc. 

Refunds and Restocking Fees

Unique Photo, Inc inspects all returned merchandise. Returns which do not meet the parameters listed above will be subject to a restocking charge. This will include those items unverifiable as defective, or returns not due to freight damage or an error on the part of Unique Photo, Inc. 

Restocking charges may be anticipated as follows: 

  • Items returned used with no identifiable or replicable defect (regardless of claim made) may be assessed a restocking fee of up to 25%. 
  • Items sent back missing parts, accessories, or packaging originally included may be assessed a restocking fee of up to 35%. 
  • Items returned physically damaged may be assessed a restocking fee of up to 50%

Shipping rates depend on the selected shipping speed and weight/size of the items.

To determine the applicable shipping rate for items in your Cart:

  1. Select Proceed to Checkout
  2. Select or add your shipping address
  3. Select a shipping speed and select Continue
  4. Select a payment method and select Continue

Shipping Policies

Unless otherwise specified, all goods will be shipped by UPS or USPS surface freight, pre-paid and charges added to the invoice. All domestic freight charges are invoiced at prevailing rates plus insurance. The customer may specify alternate shipping (e.g., Expedited, etc), at time of order for additional charge. 

Free Shipping: Unique Photo is pleased to be able to offer free shipping on select items. Please note that Free Shipping promotions apply only to orders shipping to a street address within the contiguous United States. Otherwise, shipping charges will be presented at time of check out. For Returns on orders where free shipping had been given, applicable shipping charges will be deducted from any refund. The only exception to this practice would be if the return was due to an error on the part of Unique Photo, Inc. 

Damage and Shortage: Any and all damage or shortage claims must be reported to us within two business days of receipt. Claims beyond this time frame cannot be honored. If a package arrives damaged, or items missing, please message us or call 1-800-631-0300 and speak to a live customer service representative who will assist in rectifying the situation. 

Outside of the US: Please pay careful attention to the rules and duty regulations in Canada and other countries. Unique Photo cannot estimate your duty, nor brokerage fees, if you are outside of the United States and is not responsible for any extra cost incurred.
For export orders outside of the United States, Unique Photo is not responsible for local custom regulations or charges. Please check with your local customs office to determine if duty will be added to your order. All goods shipped within the United States are duty free.

Unique Photo cares about your security. Please note that higher value orders will likely require a signature upon delivery.  Please plan accordingly.
Any change to your UPS shipment can only be authorized by Unique Photo. Please contact Unique Photo if you need to make any change to your delivery.

Tax Information

Sales tax is not separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from Unique Photo, Inc. through the Amazon.com Site unless explicitly indicated as such in the ordering process. Items ordered from Unique Photo, Inc. may be subject to tax in certain states, based on the state to which the order is shipped. If an item is subject to sales tax, in accordance with state tax laws, the tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item, including shipping and handling charges, gift-wrap charges and other service charges, less any applicable discounts. If tax is separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from Unique Photo, Inc. through the Amazon.com Site, the tax amounts that appear during the ordering process are estimated - the actual taxes that will be charged to your credit card will be calculated at the time your order is processed and will appear in your order confirmation notification.

Used products we are selling

Unique Photo is pleased to be able to offer Used merchandise for sale at a discounted price to anyone who may be interested. Please note that on items labeled Used, the condition of the product is rated fairly and to the best of our ability. For items received in a condition less than expected, we would ask that we be contacted within two days of receipt, and we will gladly authorize your return request. Not all original accessories are necessarily included with Used items. For specific detail regarding an item, please contact us prior to purchase, and we would be happy to assist with any information available. As we are constantly updating our Used listings, the best way to have any questions addressed would be by contacting our customer service department at 800-631-0300, option 2. We do not have access to shutter counts. Please note that Unique Photo offers a 90 day Warranty against manufacturing defect on all Used items we are selling.
