Shipping Policies

Domestic orders are shipped from our warehouses in Champaign, IL 61822. Orders received before 1:00 pm CST will usually ship same day. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be shipped the next business day. We are unable to ship to P.O. Box addresses. The international shipping freight charged on these orders will not cover duty or brokerage, which will be collected upon delivery and is the customer's responsibility.  Once your order has been placed and processed, your shipping address cannot be changed or updated. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Please mind that the return shipping fee is the customer's responsibility.

A: Yes, it is free. Zmodo/Funlux app is available for Android 4.0 and up & iOS 7.0 and up mobile devices.

Q: What is the requirement of internet to setup the wireless camera system?

A: Zmodo/Funlux wireless cameras are compatible with a password-protected 2.4GHz WiFi network with WPA/WPA2 encryption. If your router is a dual band router, meaning it supports both 5.0Ghz and 2.4Ghz networks, be sure the SSID (network name) is different for each. You will need your mobile device to be connected to the 2.4Ghz during setup.

Q: How long is the power cord for Zmodo outdoor wireless cameras?

A: The power cord for the camera's adapter is about 6ft. The power adapter is external AC-to-DC Switching Power Adapter INPUT: 100-240V AC, 50/60Hz, Output: 5V DC, 1.0A, which is included in the package. You can get longer power cords from the link below:

Q: Can’t connect the wireless cameras, what should I do?

A: Please view the indicator lights on your cameras firstly. If it is Solid Blue Indicator Lights: type "+" icon at the top right of Zmodo/Funlux App, choose "Wireless Device and Smart kits -Wireless Device" to find the existing devices on the LAN. If it is Flashing Green Indicator Lights: Please make sure your mobile device is connected to the 2.4Ghz wifi network with WPA or WPA2 encryption type during setup. 

Q: Doorbell is offline now, what should I do?

A: To get the doorbell online again, please poke the reset hole at the bottom of the Greet with a needle for 5-10 seconds. And the re-add the device just like what you did for the very first time. Please also use a phone app named Wifi signal to test the signal near your greet when the door is closed, making sure the wifi speed is better than -50dbm.

Q: Do I need to hard wired the doorbell?

A: Yes, please make sure that your wires are connected to a mechanical doorbell chime and a transformer with a low-voltage of 16VAC-36VAC. DO NOT directly attach the doorbell to primary power (110/120 VAC and 220/230/240 VAC). If you do not have mechanical chime, you MUST use a 20 ohm/10 watt resistor between the smart doorbell and one wire from the power source. Resistor not included in packaging.

Q: Can I add more cameras to the nvr(wireless system)?

A: Zmodo 4CH NVR supports at most 4 Zmodo wireless camera, 8CH NVR supports at most 8 Zmodo wireless cameras.

Q: Can I extend the hard drive?

A: Yes, Zmodo NVR (Wireless System) supports up to 2TB internal SATA 2.5” hard drive. Does't support external hard drive.

Q: Can I plug NVR straight to monitor/TV using HDMI to view live feed and the stored?

A: Yes, you can plug the NVR straight to your monitor/TV. There is a HDMI port at the back of your NVR, but the HDMI cable is not included in the package. After the connection, you can view all cameras’ live feeds on your large-screen HDTV/Monitor at the same time. Selecting the Channel and Date, you can also playback on your HDTV so that you won’t miss anything in the past!

Q: Can I playback footage on my smartphone/PC?

A: Yes, you can playback footage on your smartphon/PC. There is a playback icon on the live video page of your Zmodo app. If you couldn't find the playback icon, please contact us via Amazon message with the device ID# of your NVR. We will help you upgrade the firmware so that you can remotely playback.

Q: How many days it can save the video for?

A: If motion alerts are triggered 10 times a day and each alert’s activity period is up to 3 minutes, 1TB hard drive can record 8 cameras for 90 days.
