We sell high quality, brand name, new medical products at deeply discounted prices. We are an authorized dealer/distributor for the products we sell.  Some of the products we sell may be supplied to our customers in clinical non-retail packaging which enables us to provide the absolute lowest cost to consumers.  We do not sell counterfeits, knock-offs, distressed, damaged, returned or any other form of previously used or not genuine equipment on Amazon.

If you have any questions or discover any damage, defect  or any items missing from your order,  you have 5 days from receipt to advise us in writing via Amazon communications. In the event you are reporting missing items we and the shipping carriers require that all shipping materials including boxes and packaging be maintained by the buyer for possible inspection by the carrier. Photos may be requested.

All other returns for new, unused, resalable merchandise must be completed within 30 days of order placement.  All returns completed within 30 days are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Any return that is in new and resalable condition but without the original packaging and/or inserts is subject to a 30% restocking fee.  Any exceptions beyond our 30 day return policy must be requested in writing via Amazon communications and are granted on an individual case by case basis per management approval and are subject to a minimum 30% restocking fee.  Please allow 7-14 business days from receipt for refund processing.

Items delivered using a free shipping promotion are offered for ease and convenience. Obviously no merchant can ship for free and all orders have a shipping charge imputed into the total cost.  As clearly stated in our free shipping promotion “If you return any item shipped using this promotion your order drops below the threshold amount and you will be charged the Standard Shipping fee upon returning the item".  If an order sent with free shipping is returned to us for any reason that is not the result of our error, the buyer is responsible for the shipping cost we incurred and the cost to reship the item if the buyer wants it reshipped. If a buyer refuses delivery in any manner including not  contacting or picking up an order when the carrier has left notice form and the package is returned to us at our expense with shipping/postage due, the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from any refund due. This includes addressees or addresses that are deemed undeliverable by the USPS or UPS.  Re-shipments are at the expense of the buyer. Buyers who choose not to have the item reshipped will be refunded per these policies. 

RMA's – Return Merchandise Authorization’s 

All returns must have an RMAnumber on the outside of the package.  Packages without RMA # on the outside will be refused. 

Request a RMA by emailing us via Amazon.   Once assigned, the RMA # is valid for 10 days.  Please use the shipping label on the bottom of the RMA.  Do not write the RMA # on the product package and render it unsellable. 


Safe Returns 

Return packages using a secure shipping method.  We suggest you obtain and retain tracking of your shipment for your records. We are not responsible for lost packages. Insure your package if loss or damage is a concern. Please allow 7-14 business days from receipt for refund processing.


Non- Returnable Items  

Contagious disease and product tampering are alive and well.

Due to our compliance with Health and Safety laws/pharmacy/DME regulations and for the health and safety of our customers, we maintain strict security over our inventory of health products to avoid contamination or product tampering - thus most products we sell are not returnable. Be assured you will never receive a used or otherwise opened product from us.  We truly regret the strictness of this policy, but require it to ensure the hygienic integrity of our warehouse, our pharmacy licenses and all the products we ship. It also allows us to maintain our high level of service and deeply discounted prices for the benefit of all our customers.  We know you wouldn't want us to send you a used health care product or raise our prices to retail to absorb the cost of returns.  Return fraud, which includes purchasing merchandise for short-term use with the intent to return the item, has historically caused retailers to raise prices for all shoppers in order to offset the losses incurred from fraudulent returns.

  • No health or herbal products, gels or lotions, may be returned or exchanged once delivered. Product tampering is a serious concern of ours and of our customers. 
  •  Used or worn orthopedic soft goods, supports, braces, foot products are not returnable. Contaminants, bed bug, lice, fleas, staph, bacterias and other serious contagions are spread very easily on the surfaces and crevices of these products.    
  •  We will not accept returns on any pillows or like products (wedges etc) that have been removed from sealed packaging even for a short time. We offer no trial periods.  No exceptions will be made.  Head lice, pet fleas and bed bugs are extremely common and difficult. These have the potential to contaminate our entire facility and consumers homes as well.   
  •  Hot/cold therapy items, electrodes or other health care items once it is evident they have been opened, frozen, heated, used or worn are not returnable.
  • Books must be returned within 15 days of original invoice in unused condition. We assess a 35% restocking fee on book returns.  DVD's and Videos, once removed from sealed plastic wrapper are not returnable and no exceptions will be made.
  • Therapy balls are not returnable once inflated.  We would never send you a previously inflated ball.
  • We will only accept returns for items that are 100% complete in original, unopened packaging and in re-saleable condition, with all packaging, manuals, cables, registration cards, accessories and UPC label and an unbroken seal.  We reserve the right to refuse a return or refund on any product that does not meet these requirements.
  • We do not offer trial periods or clinical advice. We do not indicate medical appropriateness or guarantee therapeutic results.  If you have medical concerns consult your medical professional before you buy or before you try the equipment.  If you return used, damaged or incomplete merchandise alleging it did not help your medical condition or misrepresenting its condition it will not be refunded. Any cost to return the equipment to the buyer will be borne by the buyer.

Shipping Policies

Shipping Information

Our intent is to be pro-active.

  Please take a minute to read our polices.  We want our buyers to be informed prior to purchase. 

To avoid disappointment or misunderstandings you can email us through Amazon, before you place your order, if you have shipping related questions that are not addressed here.

 

We process orders Monday through Friday 9-4 EST (Except holidays).  We use both the United States Postal Service and UPS to ship. If you have a PO Box for mail delivery and a regular street address for UPS deliveries please be sure to provide both addresses in your Amazon order/account. 

Be sure the address you provide us is correct AND complete.  If you are a guest at a residence and are not a resident registered with the local post office, please be sure to note that in the address you provide. Include the name of the resident registered with the local post office.  If you are having your order shipped to your place of business or a hotel please be certain to provide the business/hotel name, your name, your department and\or room number and any other relevant information that will assure the item is delivered to you.  If you fail to provide the necessary information to get the package delivered to you the item will most likely be returned to us, ultimately at your expense.  Keep in mind, some items (usually light, inexpensive items) most likely will not be shipped UPS and must deliver by USPS to qualify for free shipping.  Other items (usually high value/heavier items) will only deliver via UPS and may require a signature.  Shipping carrier is always at our sole discretion. 

The Therapy Connection does not offer overnight, next day or second day shipping on Amazon.

If you need these special services we may be able to accommodate you on a case by case individual basis. Please contact us at by phone at 603-898-3909 during our normal business hours or email us for a quote. All orders are subject to processing time.  Not all of the items listed on our site are available immediately, so selecting One-Day, Two-Day or Expedited shipping does not necessarily mean your order will arrive in one or two days. This policy is the same with all merchants including Amazon itself.  One-Day and Two-Day Shipping for U.S. Deliveries may require signature and cannot be sent to P.O. Boxes or APO, FPO or DPO.

 

Expedited shipping is not the same as next day or two day shipping!

There are some things to keep in mind when selecting an expedited shipping option.

“Usually ships”

All orders, including expedited orders, are subject to processing time.  "Usually ships" is always stated in Amazon listings and indicated in your shopping cart before the order is placed.  “Usually ships” means the number of  business days between the time you place the order on Amazon, by the time Amazon gets it to us and the time it gets shipped by us.  "Usually ships in 1 to 2 business days" means the order will usually ship in one or two business days or as soon as we get it however…. if you place an order after business hours on Friday evening it may not ship until Tuesday of the next week (the second business day).

"Ship time – Transit Time"

This is the estimated delivery time for your selected speed of delivery. For example, most people choose our "standard free shipping promotion" which is listed as 3 to 7 business days. Remember "ship time" starts after "usually ships."

The actual delivery dates you can expect for expedited service ranges from 3 days to 5 business days.

The actual delivery dates you can expect for standard free shipping ranges from 5 days to 9 business days.

We generally ship from New Hampshire however we do have other central, southern and west coast locations where some of our items are warehoused or drop shipped from.  That said, understandably, free standard shipping to NY from our NH warehouse will usually be delivered more quickly than those orders that are shipping to CA or WA.


Exactly as does Amazon, The Therapy Connection may use air or ground shipping, UPS, USPS, Mail Innovations, FedEx or any other carrier we choose, as necessary to get your items to you within the delivery range promised at the time you place your order.   


Address Accuracy: Corrections


Our shipping labels are the direct result of downloading the information customers provide in their Amazon account. We do not manually alter addresses.

If a buyer has both a physical address and a PO Box it is the buyers responsibility to have that information in their Amazon account so that it may be provided to us by Amazon.  Packages are shipped to the precise address provided by Amazon unless the customer notifies us otherwise in writing BEFORE the item is shipped.


Amazon requires that any change of address request be put in writing. If you do not email us the change of address information we will not make any changes to the address.  If your package is returned to us or undeliverable as a result of incorrect name or address information, inadequate address information (for example missing a PO Box or physical address, apartment number, room number, business name etc), expired forwarding information or  unknown, we will contact you for the correct address information and the funds to reship your order or correct the address. Should you elect not to have the item re-routed or re-shipped and the item must be returned to us at our expense, we will refund you for the product only restocking fees and  less all the shipping costs. If you used a free shipping promotion as stated in the promotion the cost of shipping  is not refundable.

International Shipping:


International Buyers - Be advised that import duties, taxes (including VAT) , import clearance fees or any other charges that may be assessed in the buyers country are not included in the item price or shipping cost. The buyer is responsible to pay to the carrier any import fees, or other charges that are collected by the carrier. These fees are the buyers responsibility and under no circumstances will the seller or the carrier assume these costs.

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can't predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

What limitations are there on returns?

It should go without saying that medical products are not the same as regular retail items.  Further our selling prices do not come close to anywhere near with those you would pay in a retail store or pharmacy for the exact same item.

We are a professionally organization and maintain professional licenses, including pharmacy licenses, which allow us to dispense many of the medically necessary products we sell. As a result of our compliance with Health and Safety laws/pharmacy regulations /DME regulations and on the behalf of all of our customers, we maintain very strict security over our inventory of health related products. This is done to avoid any possibility of contamination and/or product tampering, which unfortunately, is alive and well. 

This said, we hope buyers understand why most products we sell are simply not returnable if they have been opened or removed from sealed packaging. We assure our customers they will never receive a used, dirty, smoky or otherwise recycled, cross contaminated bacteria, bug or pet hair laden product from The Therapy Connection. Our professional buyers... hospitals, clinics, doctors and therapists, who have purchased with us for over 25 years, trust and depend on the integrity of the products we sell.

Ensuring the hygienic integrity of our warehouse is a serious and paramount concern in our daily operations. We screen returns prior to RMA issuance and items that are accepted for return are handled in a separate area of our warehouse. This ensures the products we ship are not contaminated. It is our intention to provide buyers a worry free transaction.

This policy also allows us to control product costs, reduce return fraud and maintain our deeply discounted prices for the benefit of all customers.  We know our buyers wouldn't want us to send out a used or returned health care product and we are certain our buyers would not want us to raise our prices to those of retail store to absorb the high cost of returns which are not in a condition to be resold.  

Our policies follow:

Please do not tape or write anything on the item or packaging and render it non-returnable. We reserve the right to refuse a return or a refund on any product that does not meet these requirements.

8.    We do not offer any trial periods on our health care products or medical equipment. We do not guarantee therapeutic results or medical appropriateness. We will not accept the return of a used product for these reasons. The policies we have in place are to protect this company and our customers from harm and the cost of abusive or fraudulent returns. These policies, based on our 25 years of experience, are appreciated and valued by the majority of our loyal customers. Reasonable people will always get fair and reasonable treatment when buying with us however if any buyer misrepresents the condition of the product purchased to obtain an RMA and then returns it in used or otherwise not salable condition the item will not be refunded.

9. As published by Amazon on the Amazon site:

"If you have questions before you place an order about a seller's return policy, please see the seller's profile page which is linked to from the product page.  Shipping and handling charges for returning items shipped by a seller are borne by the buyer."

10.  Items valued at over $75 must be returned to the seller with a trackable shipping service. If the order is valued at $100 or more, insure the shipment for the value of the merchandise and ship your return with a signature shipping service. For items below $75, we suggest USPS delivery confirmation service. If a package doesn't arrive and you don't use a trackable method to return or if you refuse the shipment as a method of return or otherwise by pass the normal return process, your order may not be covered under the A-Z guarantee and any additional cost, including return to sender costs,  ill be deducted from your refund.
