This includes information pertaining to gift recipients. Financial information including credit card numbers, expiration dates, billing address, etc., is used solely to bill the customer for their order and are not stored in our database.

Sales tax is not separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from Pit Stop Toy Shop through the Amazon.com Site unless explicitly indicated as such in the ordering process. Items ordered from Pit Stop Toy Shop may be subject to tax in certain states, based on the state to which the order is shipped. If an item is subject to sales tax, in accordance with state tax laws, the tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item, including shipping and handling charges, gift-wrap charges and other service charges, less any applicable discounts. If tax is separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from Pit Stop Toy Shop through the Amazon.com Site, the tax amounts that appear during the ordering process are estimated - the actual taxes that will be charged to your credit card will be calculated at the time your order is processed and will appear in your order confirmation notification.
Q: Why was I charged sales tax on my order? Other sellers don't charge me sales tax.
A: We are a registered New York State vendor and are therefore required to charge sales tax for all order shipped to an address located within New York State.
Q: It looks like I was charged sales tax on my shipping costs, is that legal?
A: New York State considers Shipping and Handling charges as "taxable services". Please note that we are required by state law to report and pay any sales tax that we collect to the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance.

- Returns will only be accepted for UNOPENED items damaged during transit.
- OPENED items cannot be returned for any reason.
- Returns for Buyer's
Remorse will not be accepted.
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchasing party.
Return requests meeting the above
criteria must be received no later than 3 days after the date of
delivery and once a Return Authorization is granted the item must be
postmarked no later than 4 days (total of 7 days) from the date of
delivery. We reserve the right to reject any returns that do not comply
with these stated terms.
From time to time we offer items for sale before they are officially released by the manufacturer. These are called Pre-Sells, Pre-Sales, or Pre-Orders. Placing a Pre-Sell order confirms you will receive the item purchased as soon as we receive it in stock. Please note that although we order these items directly from the manufacturers we are not guaranteed to receive our orders before major retail chains or large online retailers. This is not typical but it does occur on occasion. Therefore, because we place our orders based on the amount of pre-orders we receive, any canceled Pre-Sell order will incur a 20% product stocking fee that will be deducted from any refund that is due. In addition, once a Pre-Sell order has been finalized, Pre-Sell items on that order cannot be exchanged for in stock items. Occasionally, manufacturers may select to allocate, or limit certain items. If this occurs we will fill as many orders as possible starting with the earliest dated order. In this case we will notify each customer with an unfulfilled order and provide the options of canceling or waiting for the Pre-Sell item(s) ordered. A stocking fee will not be imposed in this scenario.
