Ace Photo Shipping Rates

Inside the Continental US, we ship UPS, FexEX, or USPS Priority, so that we can keep you, our valued customer, up-to-date with the current status of your packages. 

Shipping rates depend on the selected shipping speed and weight/size of the items.

To determine the applicable shipping rate for items in your Cart:

  1. Select Proceed to Checkout
  2. Select or add your shipping address
  3. Select a shipping speed and select Continue
  4. Select a payment method and select Continue

The total shiping & handling cost will be listed under Order Summary

Shipping Policies

We strive to be one the fastest shippers on Amazon.com.

PLEASE NOTE:  We ship all packages with signature required at delivery. Please make sure that someone is at the delivery address to receive the package. 

As such, we ship very quickly after receiving your order.  If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately at 703-430-3333 and have your order id available.

We only ship to the address that Amazon.com provides.

We do NOT ship to hotel rooms.  Any order being shipped to a hotel room will be cancelled.

Please feel free to contact us to arrange faster shipping.

International Shipping

We do NOT offer international shipping.  If you choose to use a freight forwarding company, that is your choice.  Ace Photo's responsibility for the package ends when it's delivered to the freight forwarder.  If anything happens after it's been successfully delivered, that's between the buyer and the freight forwarder.

 If you choose to use a freight forwarder, the buyer is solely responsible for all taxes, duties, customs fees, and carrier fees.  If the item is returned for any reason, the buyer is responsible for any taxes, tariffs, custom fees, and carrier fees.  Ace Photo will NOT refund any taxes, duties, custom fees, tariffs, or carrier fees in the event of a return, for any reason.

Tax Information

Sales tax is not separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from Ace Photo through the Amazon.com Site unless explicitly indicated as such in the ordering process. Items ordered from Ace Photo may be subject to tax in certain states, based on the state to which the order is shipped. If an item is subject to sales tax, in accordance with state tax laws, the tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item, including shipping and handling charges, gift-wrap charges and other service charges, less any applicable discounts. If tax is separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from Ace Photo through the Amazon.com Site, the tax amounts that appear during the ordering process are estimated - the actual taxes that will be charged to your credit card will be calculated at the time your order is processed and will appear in your order confirmation notification.

Q: Wait a minute!  Are you the same company as Ace Photo Digital?
A: NO, we are not.  They are an entirely different company on Amazon.  We are in no way affiliated with Ace Photo Digital.

Q: How do you ensure shipments will arrive intact?
A: All Ace Photo shipments are packed and shipped in such a way as to ensure safe shipping and delivery and we've partnered with shipping carriers that we trust. We also require a signature on all deliveries to ensure that the package goes where it was intended.

Q: Wow!  Your shipping in the USA is really fast! How do you do it?
A: We usually pack and ship your order within 24 hours of receiving it (often on the same day if the order comes in before 1pm!)  and we're partnered with UPS to provide UPS Ground shipping which allows your package to be tracked as it travels to your door from ours. 

Q: Do you ever sell items that don't have a USA Warranty from the manufacturer, like grey market items?
A: Sometimes, we have a rare camera that wasn't available in the USA, but we clearly mark the listing as not having a USA warranty.  EVERYTHING ELSE has a USA warranty.

Q: Do you ever sell factory reconditioned items or refurbished items as new?
A: Never, if we have an item that was factory reconditioned or refurbished, we mark it as refurbished.  We would never sell you a repackaged item as new.

Q: If we purchase an item and I live outside the USA are there any additional costs?
A: YES, your host government may charge you customs and/or import taxes. We have no way of knowing what these will be ahead of time and we are not responsible for any additional fee's or taxes from the import of products sold.

Our Return Policy

We have a maximum return policy of 30 days (from date received) on items bought. (Except for those items sold between Nov 1st to December 31st, they can be returned by Jan 31st) items must be in new condition (unless the item was bought as used/refurbished), unopened, and undamaged.  For Digital Camera's, this means less than 200 shutter actuation's.  

If the item is returned and found to be in working order but used, a 20% restocking fee will be charged.   We are not a rental facility and will not be used as such. 

Seller reserves the right to refuse returns for opened or damaged items.

Digital Cameras, Lenses and Flashes will be replaced within 14 days of purchase if there is something wrong with the unit.  After that, the unit will go back to the manufacturer for repair.

All returns must be pre-approved through Amazon's Return Request interface in Your Account.

All returns must include the following:

  • Original packaging (manufacturer's box, Styrofoam, plastic bags, etc.)
  • Original packaging must be undamaged (not ripped, scratched, dented)
  • Original intact UPC barcode. Do not cut out the UPC code until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction. Removal of the UPC code voids any possibility of return regardless of RMA or credit request status.
  • Valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) printed and attached to the outside of the shipping box. 
  • Original packing slip. Do not mail or dispose of the packing slip until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction.
  • The return must be complete and include all accessories (chargers, remote controls, batteries, cables, software disks, etc.)
  • Manufacturer documentation (manuals, warranty cards, registration information, etc.)
  • The RMA number must NOT be written on the original manufacturer'spackaging or box. Please attach the RMA print (with the barcode) onto the shipping box. Items received with any writing on the original manufacturer's packaging or box will be refused and returned to you at your cost and without credit approval.

Returns Must Meet ALL Applicable Criteria

If your returned product does not match all applicable criteria listed below, it will be rejected by our Returns Warehouse and returned to you at your expense. Consequently, your RMA will be nullified, any credit request will be denied, replacement orders will not be made,and you will be charged for all shipping to and from our Returns Warehouse that may be incurred. By requesting an RMA and/or shipping a return in violation of this policy you hereby agree to accept our shipment of the product back to you and to the payment of all shipping costs to and from our Returns Warehouse. Our arrangements with our suppliers and manufacturers allow us no room to make exceptions.

If Ace Photo caused the error (i.e. wrong item sent), we will cover return shipping cost, up to, but not exceeding the cost of the original outbound shipping.  If the sale had free shipping, we will cover up to, but not exceeding our costs in the original shipping.  The item must be in original packaging, and wrapped well.  Any damage incurred during return transit is the responsibility of the buyer.
