Freight Shipments (Fedex, ABF, Roadrunner) Orders over 150 lbs.
For residential deliveries via Freight, the freight company will contact you to arrange delivery. They will provide you with a date and time of when you should expect them to be delivering the item(s) toy our home. Someone must be present at time of delivery.
On most items we will pay the shipping excluding Hawaii & Alaska. For smaller accessories or parts the buyer will pay the shipping or the item will say otherwise.
Orders are processed Monday through Sunday, from 8AM to 6PM. Most orders received during this time are shipped the next business day.
Orders are shipped via Fed-Ex or USPS depending on the amount and weight of the items being shipped. Some items are sent via Freight Line LTL (Fed-Ex Freight, ABF or Roadrunner) because of the weight of the item. All orders over 150 lbs will be shipped via Freight. Lift Gate service is recommended when shipping to a residence. This service will lower the unit to the ground upon delivery.
OVERNIGHT Shipments: Overnight shipments cannot be canceled. Note: Orders received after 2:00 pm (CST) will ship next business day.
Packages cannot be rerouted once shipped for customer security and logistical reasons.
Signature and Physical Address
All orders require a signature upon delivery. Therefore, a physical address is needed. We do not ship to a post office box.
An order will be considered "Un-Deliverable" if the all three conditions are met:
1. The customer does not or cannot accept delivery
2. The package is undamaged (determined by shipping company inspection)
3. The shipping company makes reasonable attempt at delivery
If the shipment is "Un-Deliverable" we will return the package to our warehouse, cancel the order and charge a restocking fee of 20% to cover the cost of package re-consignment and shipping.
There is no sales tax charged to orders shipped outside of Illinois. Sales tax will only be charged to orders with shipping addresses in Illinois.
Items weighing over 150 lbs ship by truck freight. The trucker driver will move the freight to the back door of the truck. But it is the responsibility of the receiver to actually get it off the truck. If you do not have a loading dock or any other means to lift the freight off the truck add "Lift gate Delivery" to your shopping cart when ordering. This charge will be added to your order and the trucker will then get the freight to the ground for you.
To avoid this lift gate fee many of our residential customers arrange in advance for enough hands to lift the freight off the truck. Most freight lines will call you for a delivery appointment, which will allow you to obtain the help necessary.

Items ordered from Wise Equipment & Rentals, Inc. may be subject to tax in certain states, based on the state to which the order is shipped. If an item is subject to sales tax, in accordance with state tax laws, the tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item, including shipping and handling charges, gift-wrap charges and other service charges, less any applicable discounts. Orders can only be canceled or changed prior to shipping. If the order has already been shipped the return/exchange procedures apply. All cancellations/changes MUST BE DONE OVER THE PHONE. Email cancellations are not accepted.
WARRANTY & RETURNS
For all unused / non-damaged returned items in original condition, in original the packaging with all original documents within 30 days of original purchase date, there is a 15% restocking fee on the item price (15 percent fee does not apply to cost of shipping/insurance). For used / non-damaged returned items in original condition, in original packaging within 15 days from original purchase date, with all original documents, there is a 25% restocking fee on the item price (restocking fees do not apply to cost of shipping/insurance). Shipping & insurance charges are non-refundable. Buyer is responsible for all actual shipping & freight charges of shipping product to buyer and shipping product back. These charges can be detailed upon request. We, at Wise Equipment can assist in return shipping and arrangements. Refund will be provided to the buyer within 7-14 business days from receipt of item. Exchanges: There is no restocking fee on exchanged items, provided the item is unused, and in original condition with all applicable parts, packaging, manuals, etc.
