GENERAL SHIPPING POLICY:
Domestic (inside the United States)
Our shipping charges are based on standard UPS or U.S. Mail rates (where applicable), which are based on package weight, size, and distance shipped. To preview the shipping charges for your online order, add the items you want to order into your shopping cart, enter your zip code and select your desired method of shipment.
MAKE SURE TO RECHECK YOUR METHOD OF SHIPMENT BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ORDER! Your account stores a default method of shipment which you may opt to change on any given order. If you do make a mistake, please call and we will get it corrected for you.
Through our website we offer UPS Ground, 3 day select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air shipping to all of our customers who place orders to be shipped inside the United States.
We are happy to ship to A.P.O. addresses via US Priority Mail.
DELIVERY AND LEAD TIME:
Since UPS and USPS do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays (even for express shipping), the actual delivery date may differ from the estimated transit time. For example: A Next Day Air order, leaving our store on a Friday for New York, will not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one day transit time.
Orders for items that are in-stock shipped within 24-48 hours of order processing, excluding weekends and holidays. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 4:30 pm EST. During times of high volume, the lead time for Ground shipping may vary slightly.
Expedited shipping (UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, 3rd Day and USPS Express):
These orders are given top priority. Express orders for items that are in stock are shipped the same day if received by 1PM EST, excluding weekends. If placed after 1PM EST, your order may ship the same day or next. Please note that USPS Priority packages are given standard, not expedited priority.
ITEMS THAT ARE OUT OF STOCK:
You will be contacted via email if you ordered an out of stock item. At this point you can either choose to substitute for another item in stock, remove it from your order, cancel your order or place your order temporarily on hold until your item is in stock again. Due to availability and vendor issues, we can only provide an estimate as to when an out of stock item will become available.
We are happy to accept your return of new or used goods purchased from our store by phone, walk-in or website within 15 days of your receipt of goods.

If your desired return falls within the parameters of this policy you may send it back with a copy of your receipt and a letter stating the action you would like us to take - refund, replacement or trade. All original equipment, components, manuals, cables, documents and packaging must be returned in original condition with your item in order for us to process your RM (Return merchandise.) Physically damaged items, unless caused by defect in product cannot be returned. Except in the case of defective items or items shipped in error, all returns are subject to a 15% restock fee.
There are no returns on special order items. Special order items include products that we do not regularly stock and have been ordered for you specifically.
May be returned within 15 days for exchange or full refund. Midwest Photo Exchange will send you a call tag (pre-paid shipping label) to return the goods. For international orders a refund may only be available (in which case a total refund including shipping would apply.)
Items returned for any reason other than stated above are subject to a 15% restock fee upon return of said items.
Unless by error on our part and not including defective items, we will not pay for return shipping on any merchandise sold to and from our store. If product was determined defective or shipped in error and falls within our 15 store warranty period, we are happy to pay for shipping of replacement items to you.
