Q:How old does a pet have to be before using the system?
A:Your pet should be able to learn basic obedience commands such as “sit” or “stay”. The collar-receiver maybe too large for dog under 15Ibs.

Q:Once my pet is trained and has been obeying my commands, will he have to continue to wear the collar?
A:Probably not. But you may try to reinforce training with the collar.

Q:Can I use the rechargeable training collar with more than one pet?
A:Yes, you just need to add another collar to the system.

Q:How long can I continuously deliver vibration or static shock to my pet?
A:Ten seconds. After ten seconds, the transmitter will time out and should be started again.

Q:Is the collar-receiver waterproof?
A:Yes, yet you have to ensure that its charging hole is sealed by the rubber cover.

Q:Can I use the system on aggressive pets?
A:No.Please do not use this system to correct or eliminate any form of aggression or biting behavior. In the event your dog is showing signs of aggressive behavior then contact a professional dog trainer in your vicinity.

Q:Will I get exactly 300m of range with the rechargeable training collar?
A:The range you get with this system will vary according to terrain, vegetation, as well as transmission from other radio devices. To get the maximum amount of range, please refer to “how the system works” section of this guide.

Q:What do I do if my pet’s neck becomes red and irritated?
A:Discontinue use of the collar until the skin has healed. If the condition persists beyond 48 hours, see your veterinarian.

Q:Can I replace the collar-receiver with another kind of collar?
A:No.

Q:Can I attach a leash to the collar-receiver?
A:No. This can result in pulling the metal probes too tightly against your dog’s neck. Attach a leash to a separate, nonmetallic collar or a harness, ensuring the extra collar does not put pressure on the metal probes.

Q:How will I know when to charge the system?
A:For the remote transmitter: the symbol will show up on the LCD screen; for the receiver: if you hear a beep for 20 seconds when it is already on, you will need to charge the receiver.

Q:What’s the life-span of the lithium batteries of the remote transmitter and the collar-receiver?
A:They can be charged over 400 times

Q:How long can I leave collar-receiver on my dog?
A:As the collar is not designed to be worn constantly, we recommend the collar not be worn for more than 12 hours out of every 24-hour period.

Q:How should I arrange training sessions for my pet?
A:Make the training sessions short and positive, between 10-15 minutes long, each time. This enable your dog to keep its attention focused on you.

Q:What kind of dogs is this rechargeable training collar suitable for?
A:The collar is adjustable from length 5.9 “(15cm) to 19.6” (50vm), if your pet’s neck circumference is smaller than 5.9”, you have to rethread it, if your pet’s neck circumference is larger than 22”, this collar may not be suitable for your pet. This collar is NOT suitable for dogs under 15Ibs.

Q:Why it works and sometimes it doesn't?
A:Training product will not work when go to standby mode.
The transmitter will go into Standby Mode if there is no operation after 20seconds and will turn off after 20 minutes.
The receiver will go into Standby Mode if unused for 4 minutes. Any movement from the dog will activate the receiver.

Q:What to do with the clear plastic thing. 
A:It is a plastic test bulb for test the shock function.

Q:How can i start using the different function train my dog?
A:Training collars are used to train the dogs instead of punishing. This collar has three options to train the dogs, Beep, vibration and Static shock.
And the static shock will always be the last source to use.


Q:Why does my pet no responding after the petrainer pet training system has been installed successfully?
A: 1.You need to charge the remote transmitter and the collar-receiver for 6H separately before initial use.
2. Check to see if the remote transmitter and the collar-receiver have been turned on.
3. Check the intensity levels of vibration and static shock 
4. Make sure the collar-receiver has sufficient power to operate
5. Restart the collar-receiver by pressing the ON/OFF button.
6. Please test the 4 functions (i.e. BEEP. LIGHT. VIBRATION AND STATIC SHOCK) before initial use. See the “test the training system” part of this guide for testing methods.
7. Check whether the collar-receiver has entered into the DEEP SLEEP mode.
8. Check if the collar fits snugly with your pet’s neck.
9. Check the thickness of your pet’s fur and use appropriate length metal probes. If necessary, please trim your pet’s neck hair so that the metal probes come in direct contact with your pet’s skin.
10. If all of the above have been addressed and your pet still gives no response. Please try to re-connect the remote transmitter and the collar-receiver.

Q:Why the remote transmitter does not work?
A: Check if the remote transmitter is in low battery status. If the icon shows up, battery exhaustion is imminent.
You have to press and hold the MODE button on the transmitter to turn it on.
Check if the transmitter has entered into the STANDBY or DEEP SLEEP status.

Q:How does collar-receiver works great for some time, yet it does not work after charging?
A:Check if the receiver has been charged correctly. Check the “prepare the collar-receiver” part of the guide for the correct charging method.
Check if the receiver has been turned on.

Q:Does the collar-receiver work on human? I test it on myself,but it does not work.
A:When testing the receiver on your hands, please touch the 2 electrodes at the same time as touching one single electrode will not work.
