SHIPPING COST

The shipping charge for all items is calculated based on individual items weight, packaging size, handling process and it is listed next to each product

SHIPPING TIME

Most of our products are shipped via UPS ground. 95% of orders placed by 1P.M. in your shipping address time zone will be delivered by the next business day. Delivery dates are based on in-stock availability of an item in a warehouse near your location. Items not available in the closest warehouse will ship from the next closest one and will possibly affect delivery time. Please note transit times do not include weekends and deliveries only occur on business days.

 

Freight items will generally be delivered within 3-8 business days barring any unforeseen delays. You will be contacted by Common Carrier to arrange a window of time for delivery (please make sure the phone number you specified in order is correct and you can answer it during reasonable hours).

 

SHIPPING TERRITORY

BisonOffice ships only within contiguous United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, PO Boxes, APO or FPO addresses and international.

 

RECEIVING A PACKAGE

  • If you have not received your order within 3 business days, please contact us.
  • You have 7 days to report damaged, defective, missing or wrong items from the date of the order.
  • If for some reason you refused a package during delivery or provided wrong address details (e.g. suite/apt number, phone number with no answer or any other information that is missing) your order will be returned to us and you will not be eligible for a full refund (shipping charges with restocking fee will apply).
  • Freight item deliveries are "curbside" delivery only, meaning that the carrier delivers items to the curb. You will be responsible for moving your furniture into your home or business. If your business has a dock access to accommodate the trailer, the delivery will be made to the dock.
  • Products may be shipped separately from different warehouses and arrive at different times.
  • BisonOffice is not responsible for lost items due to wrong address provided.

Tax Information

  • In accordance with current law, BisonOffice is required to collect sales tax on all orders delivered within Illinois and California at the prevailing rate of sales tax in each location.
  • Tax exemption organizations located in Illinois and California must send a copy of their tax exempt certificate by email to BisonOffice at the time the order is placed to avoid sales tax charges. Upon the receipt of this information we will remove all tax charges from the purchase.

Q: How inspect freight order before signing paperwork?

A: We recommend that all of our valued customers thoroughly inspect shipments at the time of delivery:
  • Any abnormalities, shortages, or damages must be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery. Please alert your delivery representatives and contact BisonOffice immediately so we can arrange for a prompt replacement.
  • All boxes should be opened for inspection and pieces counted to ensure a complete delivery.
  • Make the driver wait while you review the shipment and notate any damage on the delivery receipt.
  • If the shipment looks damaged or wrong, you may refuse delivery. In this case, please notify BisonOffice so that we can expect the return shipment.
  • Write "DRIVER REFUSED INSPECTION" when signing the delivery receipt in the unlikely event a driver will not wait.
  • Failure to notate the delivery receipt at the time of delivery terminates any and all claims that can be filed on damaged merchandise.

RETURN INFORMATION

RETURN PERIOD & CONDITIONS

You have 30 days to return most unwanted items from delivery date of the order if it hasn't been installed, assembled and it is returned in its original packaging.

  • If incorrect item was ordered or you’ve changed your mind about a purchase, full refund will not be issued (20% restocking fee will apply). 
  • You will also be responsible for the cost of returning the item to the address provided by us. Items shipped to any other addresses or without RMA number will not be considered for a refund and may be returned back to sender.

You have 7 days to report damaged, defective, missing or wrong items from delivery date of the order if  it hasn't been installed, assembled and it is returned in its original packaging.

  • If you received a damaged product or the wrong product and we cannot solve the issue with either a full replacement or replacement parts (free of charge), we will return an item and provide a full refund.
  • If you decide you do not want parts or a replacement unit, you can return the item under our standard return policy.

 

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Due to limited shelf life, safety concerns, and potential for fraudulent claims, we do not accept returns on the following items:

  • Assembled and/or modified items. Inspect all parts and confirm condition is acceptable and that all parts are present in the shipment prior to assembly
  • Dated products such as: calendars, appointment books and organizers, desk and desk pad calendars, and wall calendars and planners;
  • Personalized items;
  • All toner cartridges and drum units;
  • Hygiene and consumable products (food, beverages, cleaning supplies, pharmaceuticals and paper);
  • Computer software;
  • Opened box computers (desktop, laptop, tablets);
  • Some electronic items.

These products will only be accepted in the event of a manufacturer's defect or an error on our part.

 

RETURN PROCESS

No returns will be accepted without Return Authorization (RMA) number.

To obtain an RMA number with return address, please contact us and provide the following information: 

  1. Your name and e-mail address;
  2. Order number;
  3. Item(s) and quantity you wish to return;
  4. Reason for return;
  5. If order is damaged, defective or wrong:
  • Provide damaged, defected or wrong item’s pictures;
  • Describe the problem (include part numbers if possible);
  • We will ship you replacement parts free of charge. If we cannot replace the parts, our carrier will pick up the original package and we will send you a full replacement.

We will e-mail you return instructions, including an RMA number and return address within 24 business hours of receiving your request.

Please note: 

  • RMA number will expire after 7 days.
  • Items must be in new condition, 100% intact and in the original packaging with all components, manuals, registration cards, software, cables and/or accessories, and UPC or bar-code clearly visible on the packaging. Please do not assemble or modify the product in any way. We cannot accept items not in the original packaging. If a product is being returned as new, but has clearly been used or damaged prior to its return, we reserve the right to refuse to refund completely.
  • Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the shipping package. Do not write on the product packaging.
  • To process your refund we require a return tracking number as a proof of delivery. 
  • We are not responsible for loss or theft before the merchandise is in our possession. For valuable items, you may wish to insure them to cover replacement costs in case the package is lost in transit.
  • Please allow up to 14 business days for our warehouse to process your returned merchandise.

 

REFUNDS

  • Refund will be issued using the same method of payment you used to purchase the item(s). For example, if you used credit card A, refund will only be issued to credit card A. We cannot refund to credit card B, send a check or return to a different account.
  • All types of refunds may take up to 14 business days to be processed.

 

WARRANTY

All our products are warranted by the manufacturer, unless noted otherwise on our site. The warranty period and service may vary depending upon manufacturer and product. If you experience problems with an item after the 30-day period has expired, please contact manufacturer directly. We can provide manufacturers information.

CANCELLATIONS/ ADDRESS CHANGE

  • Due to our commitment to process orders quickly and provide a speedy delivery, once the checkout process is complete our warehouse is immediately notified to pick up the order and prepare it for shipment. Because of this we do not accept any cancellations.
  • Shipping address cannot be changed or modified once order is placed.
  •  If for some reason you refused a package during delivery or provided wrong address details (e.g. suite/apt number, phone number with no answer or any other information that is missing) order will be returned to us and you will not be eligible for a full refund (actual shipping and return shipping charges with restocking fee will apply).

ORDERING

  • All products from BisonOffice are in stock unless marked otherwise. However, stock quantities are not updated in real time. Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery on low stock items, even if the item was in stock during order placement. Orders are processed on first come first serve basis.

  • TAX applies to Illinois and California States. If your organization is tax exempt, please email us your tax exempt form along with an order number. Taxes will be refunded within 24 business hours.
  • Despite our best efforts, on rare occasions items on BisonOffice are posted with inaccurate product descriptions.
