Warehouse

Sonic Electronix has two warehouse facilities for a combined total of over 80,000 square feet of storage space. One warehouse is located in California, the other is in Kentucky. Combined they ship out well over 2,000 orders per day!

Our state-of-the-art warehouse facilities each carry more than 20,000 high-quality electronics, ready to ship within 24 hours of your order. We make sure to keep the entire operation well-organized and secure.

Your order is packed into custom sized cardboard shipping boxes and filled with packing peanuts and bubble wrap to protect against shipping damage. We use environmentally friendly packing peanuts and recycle surplus cardboard, plastic, and other leftover materials.

Once your order is packed, it is sent along a mechanical conveyor belt and scanned into the UPS or USPS tracking system for your convenience. We have a UPS and USPS truck on site at each of our warehouses that make multiple trips a day to their respective shipping centers.

The California warehouse building features a cutting edge 12V testing-bay for all returned merchandise. This allows our technicians to provide the fastest and most accurate warranty service available.

We offer FREE Standard Ground to most of the US, excluding HI, AK, PR and other territories.

We offer USPS services at a small rate fee based in the location, weight and value of the merchandise. Amazon will calculate such fees and display them before completing the purchase.

Expedited Services available at an additional expense.

Shipping rates depend on the selected shipping speed and weight/size of the items.

Shipping Policies

Order and Shipment Processing
We fulfill all of our orders chronologically. Products are available and shipped out as "first comes, first serves." On average, we process our orders within 24 hours (1 business day). Weekends and holidays are not considered business or transit days. If you placed an order Friday at 10PM or Saturday morning, your order will not be going out until Monday afternoon or Tuesday Morning, depending on the demand that our weekend brought in for the beginning of the week. Expedited shipping requests will have rushed processing.

Transit Times
Transit time of an order may take between 1-5 business days depending on which warehouse it's leaving from and where it's going to. For example, CA to FL will take 4 days, but KY to NY will take 2 days.
From the moment they ship out from our warehouse, our packages take on average of 3 business days for delivery. We have two fulfillment centers that allow us to cover a vast area of the country within few days.
Note: product availability, location and weather conditions may extend the delivery estimation to up to 5-6 business days.

Shipping Carriers Used
We reserve the right to use one or another carrier, at our discretion. Our decision will be based on the location, shipping speed requested and product's value or weight.
We mainly use UPS as our carrier. However, we also utilize ONTRAC for West Coast states. USPS Priority, Flat Rate mail and Parcel Post are options used for PO Box and APO addresses. DHL, in agreement with USPS, for selected merchandise. Tracking number and carrier will be provided once package is shipped. Carrier will also send out an email update once the package is taken in.

Lost Packages and Damaged or Missing Merchandise from Delivered Parcels
For questions about damaged, missing or lost merchandise during shipping transit, please read Q6 from our Q&A section. In short, all of our packages are insured and we will be more than happy to replace or refund after the claim is approved by the shipping carrier used.

About Our Inventory and Shipping

We have thousands of products varying in categories and prices; however not all of our inventory is listed here. If you cannot find something here, you may check out our main site and navigate for that one product that you are looking for.
All of our advertised products here are in stock and taken out when they are not available. If by some anomaly there happens to be an inventory discrepancy, we will quickly take action, making the necessary adjustments to your order (if there is one) and take care of our products' pricing or quantities.
We process our orders within 24 hours (1 business day) on average, insure all of our packages and provide tracking number on all merchandise shipped. Q1: How do I return merchandise for a refund or exchange?
A: If you are sending back anything you bought from us, please make sure that it was previously acknowledged and approved by our Returns Department. We will refuse service if package arrives without reference or approval.

Please call us at 1-661-257-9993 or email us to request a "Return Authorization Number" commonly abbreviated as RA #. Once the request is submitted, our Returns Department will follow up with you and check if there is any assistance on the technical level that we can give you before approving the return. If there is no success to fix the issue after trouble shooting all possibilities, you will receive a confirmation with the return information. Once the return is authorized (usually within 36-hrs from submission) you will receive the RA reference number.

Please make sure to purchase insurance for the merchandise you are sending back. This way you will prevent any losses due to shipping damages or loss during transit. Please know that Sonic Electronix will not be responsible for any losses or damages due to improper packaging or shipping coming back to our facilities, unless the label was issued by our company.

Please make sure to follow all procedures that we email you. This will insure a quick and easy process. If there is no Return Authorization associated with your return we will refuse service.


Q2. How much time to I have to return goods for a refund?
A: If you are not satisfied with your product and would like to send it back for a refund, we offer a 60-day return policy on all products. You will need to request a "Return Authorization Number" or RA #, before the 60th day from the purchase date. Once the return is approved, you must send the merchandise back within two weeks (14 days) from receiving approval for return. Please be sure to include everything originally included in your package. 

Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 5-10 days after our receipt of the returned merchandise. We will only refund the value of the merchandise returned, not the shipping cost. On items provided with free shipping returned for a refund, the original shipping cost that we paid the shipping courier will be deducted from your refund. Please understand that, while the product was returned, the shipping service was still rendered and therefore billed to Sonic Electronix.



Q3. Can I exchange an item I bought from you for something else?
A: Yes, you can. We have a 30-day exchange policy on our items. The exchanging item has to be of an equal or greater value; but if the item happen to be of a lesser amount, the difference will go towards your account as store credit. You will need to follow the return procedures described in question 1 and 2. Exchanges will only be accepted if the merchandise is sent in new and unused conditions. Our quality seal will need to be unbroken.

Q4: Do you cover shipping back to Sonic's facilities in case I want to return merchandise for a refund or merchandise exchange?
A: If the reason for a return was due to a mistake caused by one of our team members or our shipping carrier, we will cover the shipping expenses all the way, to and from our warehouse. Otherwise, you may purchase a UPS Return Label from our website, taking advantage of our special shipping rates and insurance. For more details please give us a call or email us.
Another alternative is to take your package to a local shipping store such as UPS, FedEx or USPS and pay them directly. It may cost a little more that way. If this is what you opted to do, please make sure that you insure your package for its true value to prevent any losses. Without package insurance you are releasing Sonic Electronix from all liability. If the package was sent uninsured and it gets lost or damaged, all warranty and exchange/refund privileges will be voided at that time.
If you sent back the merchandise for an exchange, we will send it back to you at our expense via standard shipping (expedited is available at extra cost).

Q5. How long is the warranty coverage on your products?
A: Generally, 99% of our products have 1-Year Warranty, honored by the product's manufacturer or Sonic Electronix. If you encounter any problems please give us a call at 1-661-257-9993 or email us within that period of time and we will guide you through the steps. The remaining 1% our items may have 2-Year, 90-Day, or no warranty, but we will disclose it on our description.
We also offer extended warranty through a third party, SquareTrade. You may inquire about the matter via phone or email. We will send you a follow up email couple of weeks after your purchase just in case you want to purchase their services for 3, 4 or 5 years.


Q6. I received my package damaged or I have not received it at all, what do I do?
A: All of our packages are fully insured against shipping damages or losses. Therefore, please call us at 1-661-257-9993 or email us notifying us of the matter. We will start up an investigation with the shipping carrier. Depending on what you would like us to do, we will issue a replacement or refund or store credit.

IMPORTANT NOTES: 
- For damaged or wet packages, please make sure to keep everything as it arrived and call us right away.  Take pictures if you have a camera and email them to us. Avoid trying to install the received products and do not discard anything from the package; reducing the chances having your claim denied by the carrier. The shipping company needs to physically see the condition of the package and how it arrived in order to approve pay out of your claim. If there is no proof of your statement, then the shipping company will not honor our insurance and therefore we will be released from any liability. We kindly ask you to follow procedures to avoid disappointing consequences.

- Missing merchandise in the received package. You will need to contact us right away and make sure that you pretty much follow the same procedures as the ones prescribed for a damaged claim. We will need to have an inspection/investigation completed before shipping out additional merchandise or issuing a refund.

- Lost Claims can only be started 24 hours after the estimated time of arrival -- Example: if package was scheduled to arrive on the 10th, claim cannot be started until the 11th.


Q7. If I am in the area (near North LA County), can I come by and return the merchandise in person?
A: No. Unfortunately, our Los Angeles address is not a shipping or receiving center. All returns must be mailed to our Kentucky address.

Q9. What are your hours of operation?
A: Our Call Center is available 7-Days a week, 10AM-9PM EST (M-F), 11AM-8PM EST (S-S).  During the month of December we may extend our hours depending on the demand. During major holidays our facilities may be partially or fully closed. Labor Day, Four of July, Thanksgivings, Christmas Day and New Year we will be closed. Shipping carriers will be also; therefore no deliveries will occur during these days.


Q10. Do you ship internationally?
A: We ship internationally through our main website. However, through Amazon, we are only selling to the United States and its territories.


Q11. Do you ship to APO/FPO and/or PO BOX addresses?
A: We do. Extras charges may apply.


Q12. How long does it take to get an answer via email?
A: We strive to respond to every inquiry in the shortest amount of time. However, it may take between 24-48 hours. If you do not get a reply soon enough, you can always call us at 1-661-257-9993.


Q13. I've changed my mind about my order, can I cancel it?
A:
You may cancel the order if it has not been pulled out of inventory. In order to find that out, you may only request a cancellation by phone. Our phone number is: 1-661-257-9993. Our phone representatives will be able to tell you right away if it can be canceled and will do so if possible. Though you may attempt to send an email requesting to cancel; please consider that emails are not read/answered right on the second that you send them, it is not guaranteed that we will be able to stop and cancel the order prior to having it pulled. We usually answer our emails within 12 hours. This window of time can be crucial for your request, and we encourage you to call us instead. We are open 6AM-7PM PST (M-F) and 8AM-7PM PST (S-S). If you emailed us trying to cancel, and the order still went out, please request a Return Authorization to send back the merchandise. We will take it in and refund you once received.

Q14. I wanted to cancel my order but I was denied the request since it was already on its way out after I called or my email was read?
A:
If your order could not be canceled, you can still send back the product after you've made a return authorization request and get a refund once we get the merchandise back. We will need to give you an RA # and instructions on how and where to send it back (please read the first couple of questions and answers for more details about the return process). We will issue you a full refund for the product but some shipping charges may still apply. Note that without a return authorization number (RA), your return will most likely be refused and your refund will not be processed. Please follow the directions carefully.
