I enjoyed the experience so much that I have continued to grow every year and now carry many items, but the lights will always be my favorite.

Tax Information

Sales tax is not separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from Lights At Lowes Island ✅ Certified through the Amazon.com Site unless explicitly indicated as such in the ordering process. Items ordered from Lights At Lowes Island ✅ Certified may be subject to tax in certain states, based on the state to which the order is shipped. If an item is subject to sales tax, in accordance with state tax laws, the tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item, including shipping and handling charges, gift-wrap charges and other service charges, less any applicable discounts. If tax is separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from Lights At Lowes Island ✅ Certified through the Amazon.com Site, the tax amounts that appear during the ordering process are estimated - the actual taxes that will be charged to your credit card will be calculated at the time your order is processed and will appear in your order confirmation notification.

Return Policy

Returns are accepted for all of our items within 30 days of receipt of shipment.

Before returning an item, please find your item in your order history and select "return or replace item" to start the return process.  Most returns within 30 days are approved automatically and a paid return label is provided.

For prepaid return shipping labels, you must have a way to print the label. Otherwise, you can ship the item at your expense and we will refund you an amount equal to what our return shipping cost would be.

For any return due to our error (wrong item sent, not as described, damaged in transit, defective...), we are responsible for round trip shipping and your refund will be the full amount that you paid (including shipping). 

If the item is defective (not working, broken, damaged…), you have 14 days from shipment receipt to notify us.  Once notified, we will either send you a paid return label or tell you to dispose of the item.  When your item is received or if we tell you to dispose of the item, you will be refunded the cost of the product and your original shipping cost.  In some cases, we may send you a replacement item with or without returning the defective item.

If an item stops functioning after the 14 day period, please contact the manufacturer for warranty repair.  

We may still accept a non-functioning item after the 14 day period; however, the item must be in like-new condition (no scratches, all original packaging, all original accessories, all original instructions...).

For items that you feel do not match the Amazon detail page (not as described-inaccurate website description), please contact us within 14 days of receipt of the item and let us know why you think the item is different than the detail page.  If your item is not as described and you would consider accepting a partial refund in lieu of a return, please let us know BEFORE returning the item. In limited circumstances, we may consider this option. If you do not explain the difference and return the item, this is considered a discretionary return (see below).

Please note that if you order an item made in different sizes/types/styles and we send you the size/type/style that you ordered, but the item does not fit or is not the size/type/style you expected, this is considered a discretionary return and your refund will have the costs associated with the shipping and return deducted from your refund. This most often happens with clothing and specialty batteries.

For discretionary returns, if you have changed your mind or purchased the incorrect item and you wish to return your item, please note, that while we generally do not charge restocking fees, certain costs of discretionary returns will be deducted from your refund. These costs are:

☑ The actual cost of shipping to you (may be more or less than you paid for shipping).
☑ The actual cost of return shipping.
☑ $1 to $5 to cover the cost of our handling and supplies.
☑ A refund fee charged by Amazon to process your refund.  This fee is between 2.5% and 5% of your total order amount (maximum $5).

In very limited circumstances, we may accept a return for an item that was received more than 30 days ago.  However, no shipping charges will be refunded; you will be responsible for return shipping; a 20% restocking fee will be charged for new unopened items.  For items materially different than received (ie. damaged) or without all original packaging (boxes, accessories, instructions...), no return will be accepted past 30 days.

If you ordered an item and it arrives within 3 days of your delivery estimate and you decide that you no longer need the item, this is considered a discretionary return and your refund will have the costs associated with the shipping and return of your order deducted from your refund. If you paid extra for expedited, second day or next day shipping, we will be glad to issue a partial refund for the delayed receipt of your item. Rather than returning your item, PLEASE contact us!

Please contact us BEFORE returning your item if you would like a refund estimate for a discretionary return.

Holiday Items: We sell a lot of Christmas/Halloween items. While our normal return policy applies, you should know that for Christmas items that you received before December 12th (October 18 for Halloween), please ship so that we receive it before December 19th (October 25 for Halloween) of the purchase year otherwise a 50% restocking fee will be charged in addition to the fees mentioned in the discretionary returns section above.  For items you received after December 11th (October 17th for Halloween), you have 7 calendar days to ship the return.  If the tracking does not indicate that you shipped within 7 days after your receipt, a 50% restocking fee will be charged in additional to the fees mentioned in the discretionary returns section above.

All returns must be sent (dropped at post office or UPS and scanned) within 30 days of your receipt.

Please return all items exactly as received. Leave tags attached to clothing. Do not wear (trying on is fine) or wash clothing before returning.  Please return all items with the original manufacturer box/packaging/tags. Please return all original accessories, instructions and parts. New items that are not returned in new condition are subject to a "restocking fee" to account for the reduced value of the item. If your item is not in the same condition as received (used, packaging lost, damaged...), a restocking fees of 30% to 50% (not less than $3 per item) will be charged. Please contact us before returning so that we can estimate the "restocking fee" that will be assessed and you can make an informed decision about your return.
