Bottom line: IMO, the Tumi designer's responsible for the Business Traveler line built-in many practical features in this piece of luggage. Here's what I use for the evaluation criteria. First-ease in the over-head. No business traveler, who are 3-4 planes a week, want to check luggage. Finding: this bag even fits on the "short side" of the over-head, Second-Need to carry two coats. Even if it's a three day trip, it seems that I need a suit + sport coat, (I refuse to wear a tie, but, in this bag, there is a tie pocket), the trifold, (when you select thin wooden hanger), can accommodate two coats; anti-wrinkle hint-I leave the coats in the plastic cover from the dry cleaner-seems to mitigate a lot of the wrinkles. Third-protected pockets for you automation. The front padded pocket provides easy access, space for your chargers and a small amount of files. What I really like is the immediate availability of these items while flying. Fourth-Tumi honors their guarantee. I do not pay one bit of attention for taking care of my luggage. It's a tool to me. It SHOULD be tough enough to get banged around and not break. This bag flies that flag well and anytime I have a problem, the Tumi store where I live-just fixes it no questions asked. This get my full recommendation.
