Bottom Line Up Front:
Excellently comfortable shoe! Fits my size 12 flat feet and my feet don't hurt any more!

Full Story:
The last pair of business shoes that I purchased were Timberlands (back in 2007, BTW). I was amazed at how well they fit, and how comfortable that they were. I've had a number of bad experiences purchasing shoes on line, so that's why I normally don't...unless I can find something that I really like. So I decided to take a chance on the Rockports, and my feet will never be the same. While I have to admit, when they arrived and I tried them on, I fully expected to have to return them. But surprisinglynow only did they fit, but the Adiprene (from the fine folks from Adidas, no less) soles do not slip, are not load, and while rather firm, seem to keep the world at check! I'm truly happy that I took a chance and purchased these. I'm now running up and down stairs all of the time, and since my feet aren't hurting me any more, I have to admit, I never realised that my old pair of 5 year old shoes needed replacing. Boy, and I'm glad that I took a long shot! Not sure who started this business with Rockport and Adidas delivering a product of mutual conception, but it looks like these are going to be my new staple when it comes to business shoes! Talk about a treat, for your feet!

I purchased these shoes through an Amazon marketplace vendor for $75, which is a very good deal for Rockport wingtips. The main selling point for these (and most Rockports really) is that they're extremely comfortable to wear for dress shoes. I mean, there is really no "break in period" like you experience with other shoes. The first time I put them on it felt like putting on a new pair of sneakers, which has been my experience with most Rockports. They're not made of the highest quality leather, but that's OK with me. I just want comfortable shoes I can wear on a daily basis to work and these fit the bill.

Very nice shoe overall. Looks very good, fits well, and nice quality. The sole/shoe is quite light weight overall. My only qualm is that the sole is not the normal 'grabby'/sticky rubber sole that I've had on similar shoes (i.e. a vibram type rubber sole) in the past. It has a nice tread pattern, but feels a bit slick to the touch. It may be that it will have enough 'bite' to keep from slipping on rainy days - time will tell and I hope it wears well.

Overall a good shoe for the money. My last pair like this cost me $60 + tax to have it re-soled so the $88 price for new shoes was quite reasonable.

A nice looking shoe, good flex for comfort, but enough support for durability.
I have a wide foot, so I only try wide shoes in styles I like. Some Rockport shoes lately have been too narrow, in spite of "Wide" designation.
However, shoe is quite oversized in width as well as length, giving it somewhat of a boat-like appearance. If you order this shoe you should get 1/2 to 1 full size smaller than you usually take, unless you have a true 4E wide foot.

Outside salesmen walk a lot. Aging outside salesmen feel it more and more! So I'm constantly looking for comfortable shoes that my aging salesman hubby can wear all day without being worn out from knee and ankle pain by the time he gets home. These shoes seem to help, and he really likes the style.

Great shoe. Only wish the heels lasted longer as I tend to pronate so the corner wears out. But that's the tradeoff, going with these shoes which are very light because they have a Vibram sole (rubber) which is light but does wear out.

The leather upper is fine as is the fit, but the sole is cheap gunk--not the Vibram sole I was expecting. I have worn Rockports for many years - especially the dress ports with vibram soles and this Wooster model is inferior to the originals that I have worn.

Very pleased most especially with the heel. Husband tends to wear down the sides of his heels
and the construction of the heel on this shoe was a nice surprise. Will wear longer.
He is very happy with them.Rockport Men's Wooster Wingtip Oxford

I wear a size 14 and really don't expect much comfort in a dress shoe, well these are the exception. Wore them to a wedding the first time and danced all night with NO foot pain. These shoes are unbelievably light with very soft leather. Classy looking but comfortable shoe.
